Hi, Jcamts. I'd noticed your nomination, and would have commented on it sooner, only the review came much earlier than I was expecting (WP:GAN often has a fairly large backlog of nominations, you see). Without both a production and a reception section, the chances of a TV-related article reaching GA status are - regrettably - low. This is a matter that I've been trying to address by adding material sourced to Bentley and other writers, such as Bassett and Drake ("Avalanche" is an example of this). Unfortunately, I would have to recommend against citing the websites that you mentioned on my talk page, since I'm not sure that either comfortably falls into the category of reliable sources. In an ideal world, we would be sourcing reception information to major newspapers and journals, but with series that are over 40 years old this is, of course, rather difficult. I'm afraid to say that I don't really have anything else that I can add to "The Trap" myself - I was able to bring "The Mysterons" and "Attack on Cloudbase" to GA, but with those two there was plenty of information to include (in part because they're both among the more well-known Captain Scarlet episodes - the series pilot and the one in which all the main characters "die"). Mid-series episodes such as "The Trap" rarely receive as much coverage in sources and are generally less notable.

Recently, I've been turning my attention more to the Joe 90 articles (and on that note, thanks for all your contributions to "Hi-jacked" and "See You Down There", among others!) With expansion, "The Unorthodox Shepherd" may stand a reasonable chance at GA - it's quite an unusual episode due to all the location filming, and there are sources that credit it for providing inspiration for The Secret Service, so in that respect there's a certain "legacy" that can be discussed in that article. I don't know whether you're aware of (Andersonic)? It seems to publish at least one episode review every issue, and some of these are available on its website ("Project 90" is reviewed here, for example). The Thunderbirds episode articles were all redirected to List of Thunderbirds episodes four years ago after their notability was contested. The synopses that I wrote still exist in the page histories - you can find the redirected titles here. I didn't agree with the decision at the time, but then again I had been on Wikipedia for less than a year and still had much to learn about the project. If I remember correctly, most of the Series One episode articles were written by me originally. I've since brought back four episode articles - all with more concise plot summaries (WP:NOTPLOT), production and broadcast/reception information - and seen them all promoted to GA status.

The only series for which I've written sub-articles are Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 - sorry about that. I don't really have any plans to write any more Joe 90 episode articles right now, partly because I'm reluctant to create any more pages that are made up mostly of plot summary and have little or no "out-of-universe" information (which is what really establishes notability). In the case of The Secret Service, which ran for only 13 episodes anyway, I've used the reception section in the main article to add commentary on individual episodes. Hi, Jcamts, and thanks for your message on my talk page. I think that "The Duchess Assignment" is a promising candidate for expansion, and certainly a fair amount could be written on Barrett's voice-acting. For other Thunderbirds episode articles, I've often turned to Bentley's The Complete Book of Thunderbirds as a strong source of information, but unfortunately I don't have access to that particular book at the moment. The potential sources that I can consult, however, are The Complete Gerry Anderson, La Rivière's Filmed in Supermarionation and the BBC Books biography of Gerry Anderson by Archer and Hearn. Interviews with the original voice cast would definitely be helpful (if linking to a video, however, be aware of the guideline at WP:YOUTUBE). I'll see about doing some searching of my own, both in books and online.

Excellent work recently with "Lone-Handed 90" - that's a Joe 90 episode that stands out from the rest and greatly benefits from additional production and reception information.

Thanks for the courtesy of talking to me about the reversal of my change. It was a rather tentative change, and I rather thought someone might not like it. But tell me, was it the colour you didn't like, or the order change, or something else? Or maybe the combination? I'm quite keen that the Spectrum colours should be preserved. I think someone, possibly a long time ago, must have added the episodes to the list without realising the order and colours were important to the theme. What do you think? Excellent article. I doubt that anyone would object to citing it as a source for criticism – I've seen references to Den Of Geek on a number of Wikipedia pages and have used it myself at least once. A discussion at the reliable sources noticeboard gave a positive assessment.

Thanks for your kind wishes. How was your summer? I'm still highly active on Wikipedia although not (at the moment, anyway) in much of an article-writing capacity. My last major writing project was the Day After Tomorrow TV pilot; since then I've mostly been wandering, unsure what to do next - perhaps I'll try to make a Good Article of "The Unorthodox Shepherd" sometime soon.
