Hello Theoder2055, the point is I have corrected the figures of 2.0, added Sarkar with reliable sources, etc..I haven't made any disruptive edits. Adding awards section is fine, but adding the award categories is not intended in this case. Also, the film is not about the dubbed films, in that case there will be many films....In the mean I will clean up every film article where dubbed film section is added. It is not really needed to be added.it's not just for the mentioned page. You might also be clearly aware of this. Even in the recent pages, we didn't add dubbed films section in any article. You can remove that section in the various articles and clean it up. I do aware of these caste related-things. But his complete given name is Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu. Even the article is named after this (including Naidu). That is why I said not to remove the entire name. If the article or his complete name doesn't include "Naidu" then I would not said that. Here it is the matter of name, no matter how is it. There is not need to rush for box office collections. If the source are reliable then the figures can be changed. Don't bring TOI source here (at least for this case). In the 2st November article it mentioned 500 crore (as you said). But in the article [https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/magazines/panache/enthiran-jeans-ps-1-aishwarya-rai-bachchans-tamil-blockbusters-that-shattered-bo-records/articleshow/95202901.cms] published just a day before (1st November), it mentioned 400 crore gross. There isn't much time difference between the sources. So, the Firtpost article can be considered. There is no hurry for box office figures. As the days pass, we can get much more sources if possible. The same happened with Vikram film too. At first everyone claimed that it collected 500 crore. But, today you can check it's figures, there is a vast difference. So no need to hurry. Hey. Why don't you just understand. It took nearly almost one month to get proper figures for Radhe Shyam. If possible I can generate source. Note that I am not claiming anything. As the time differences between the sources is less, firtspost is also reliable. Yes, it's our responsibility to report accurate figures, for that we cannot just remove other reliable figures. @Rocketks please do not call edits like this vandalism. Wikipedia has a pretty specific definition of vandalism you can read at WP:VANDAL, and especially the section WP:NOTVAND. Actively seek consensus on the article talk page. If needed, leave a message on their talk page directing them there, noting WP:BRD. Ask for comments from other editors at WP:ICTF. If the back and forth continues, asking for full protection on the article at WP:RFPP or .going to edit-war notice board can be options. There's a really good resource at WP:DR on dispute resolution. I am just removing the unnecessary content. Why don't you understand that 200 crore figure of 2018 is just a business figure and 177 crore is the reliable figure. Also, for the Pulimurugan, only 152 crore figure is added, but in the very original film page, the box figure has a range between 134.85-152 crore. Can you answer about the above two situations. I understand that, you being from Kerala wants to keep the article neat and well maintained as you are the person who is directly associated with the regional dynamics, but also understand that it is important to add the content in a neutral point of view. Hi, my ethnicity has nothing to do with the edits I make. I hardly ever lived in Kerala and my interests are only because of the movies. The Malayalam articles I edit form only a fraction of my edits and there isn't any conflict of interest so far. The addition of box office figures have undergone so much of scrutiny before (as seen in the talk pages of the list) and the reliability of references are clearly established per WP:ICTFSOURCES. So if you are interested in improving the article, kindly refer to that list of references given and use them to update the articles. Double check before adding or removing the references, and make sure you give a proper rationale in the edit summary when you removing or adding, especially for major edits with over 1000 bytes. It's absolutely necessary and some you gave are not self explanatory.
As with the argument of exact box office figures, I know it's a hard thing to keep track Indian BO. The list has undergone very deep scrutiny to differentiate publicity figures and independent tracker websites to denote the exact figures, and have finally came to that form you are seeing now. Kindly go through the edit history for the exact timeline.
@Arjunsoumithran: have explained the dynamics of the collection and the references in the next section of your talk page. So you both discuss and figure it out, without edit warring. Both of you are given a 3RR violation warning before and the next one might be a direct ban from an admin without a warning. As a fellow editor, it will be a bit sad for me to lose both of you since you both have a common love for cinema and Wikipedia, something to come by hard. So please figure it out and then come to an agreement.
Alternatively, either of you can start a RfC or a discussion on the Cinema Task force talkpage for obtaining an exact consensus and a guideline for future addition of BO figures to Mollywood films. Hello Arjunsoumithran, hope you are doing well. Frankly speaking, India doesn't have proper box office tracking system. As far as I know, Bollywood have by far the better tracking portals (Bollywood Hungama and Box Office India are best examples). Tollywood too fairly better tracking system but is limited to only Andhra-Nizam, Karnataka and United States (including Canada) markets. Similarly Kollywood too have good tracking system limited to Tamil Nadu, Andhra-Nizam and some important Tamil-speaking countries (Sri Lanka, Malaysia and GCC). But, Kannada cinema and Mollywood doesn't have proper tracking system within their territories. Most of the English sources which we rely on for the box office figures doesn't have proper information; mostly for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. So they rely mostly on the third party sources from the respective regions. Due this reason, Telugu and Tamil have atleast good amount of sources. I have observed publishing the business figure is a regular practice in Malayalam films. Check these articles from various publishers (The Indian Express: https://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/malayalam/tovino-thomas-starrer-2018-becomes-first-malayalam-film-to-reach-rs-200-crore-milestone-8652435/), (Telangana Today: https://telanganatoday.com/2018-becomes-first-malayalam-film-to-gross-200-crores-worldwide). In both of these articles, the title itself is misleading, not just these many websites mentioned that the film crossed 200 crores, they never mentioned if it is gross or business but the poster that was officially released clearly mentioned the figure as business. You might be aware how our Indian websites only highlights what they want, here 200 crore figure is a big thing so they did the same, but as a contributor it is important to check whether the figure is correct or wrong. As the days pass, due to no other option the websites repeatedly report 200 crore. This was happend alot in Telugu and Tamil films, but the only better thing is in both these industries, the business figure is rarely or never published officially during the theatrical run.
