Thanks for uploading File:Engin Altan Düzyatan in Season 5 of Resurrection Ertugrul.jpeg. IronManCap, ok, an article about Halime will possibly not get deleted but I'd advise you not to create an article for other major characters such as Turgut, Osman etc. Reason is that they will probably get deleted as per WP:UNIVERSE because you will hardly find any information that is not fiction. Same with Selcan, Hayme, Gündoğdu etc. For Osman and maybe Bala too, not yet, maybe the day the show goes on PTV. Limorina (talk) 16:55, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
By the way Limorina, do you really think an article about Osman in fiction is unsuitable? His show is sweeping records both in Turkey and internationally, even in Pakistan anyway even though Bangladesh bought the rights for the dubbed version, on outlets such as OsmanOnline, KayiFamily, Giveme5, YouTube etc. It has got significant Pakistani editorial coverage, particularly after Ertugrul’s death. IronManCap (talk) 17:04, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Also Turgut, Cengiz did a high-profile interview with Pak outlet ARY News, is he really unsuitable? You’ve been on WP longer than me, so I guess you’d know better. IronManCap (talk) 17:09, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
It seems though that a series only recieves popularity after being broadcasted on PTV surprisingly because I can't find many sources for KO, also alongside that, DE has been broadcast for 5 years while KO only for 2 years. An article about Osman will be a load of in-universe content along with something like "Fawad Chaudhry went to meet him with his family at the set."Limorina (talk) 17:13, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Turgut is a maybe. But we can't say too much about him besides his interview and a bit of extras but definitely more than Osman. Limorina (talk) 17:16, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I guess this is all hypothetical, depends on whether the existing “cast and characters” articles are enough. Thanks for your advice. By the way, I’m surprised you knew about Fawad Chaudhry meeting him, Limorina. Do you follow Pakistani affairs? IronManCap (talk) 17:21, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Even if Osman hasn’t affected Pakistan, Pakistan has affected Osman - apparently the reason there was no episode this week is that Nurettin is in Pakistan, Limorina. IronManCap (talk) 17:26, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I noticed the Noyan, Kopek and Dundar drafts. I don't think you'll find much information about them. I already talked to you about the Gundogdu one, IronManCap. I also noticed you're working on an MCU draft, interesting. Another thing, I want to delete this redirect Draft:Halime Hatun (fictional character), but I need your permission first before I nominate it for speedy deletion. Limorina (talk) 15:48, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
It seems you’ve noticed my sandbox, Limorina, I’m not really working on the Gündoğdu one. I think I could manage some reception for Noyan and Köpek, whilst I know Dündar is highly talked about in Turkey (for all the wrong reasons). I think you might be worried about the lack of coverage in Pakistan, although I might find a more global perspective (Köpek is the subject of a lot of memes). If I can’t find info for them, I’ll just abandon them. I was actually quite surprised you managed to pull together an Abdurrahman article btw, given he is a relatively minor character. About the redirect, sure, it’s just an abandoned draft.IronManCap (talk) 15:54, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
About Abdurrahman, there is seriously a lot more you can add about him, I was surprised myself. Wikipedia "determines notability not by how much the character influenced the plot but how many reliable sources talk about the character", which is why Gundogdu isn't considered notable but Abdurrahman is. Limorina (talk) 16:16, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Well, I’ll see what can be done for the different characters in that case. I know Köpek and Noyan are quite popular, and we don’t have a villain yet. IronManCap (talk) 16:21, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
One more thing, Limorina, what would you say about having a single colour for all the infoboxes for the characters in DE and KO, like the MCU (red), DCEU (silver), GoT (gold), Big Bang Theory (red again) etc? IronManCap (talk) 16:21, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Noyan and Kopek may be popular on social media, but that can't be used as a source. About the colour thingy, I don't mind, but I don't have time to think about the colour. Limorina (talk) 16:23, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
I think green or blue might be a nice colour. About sources, I obviously don’t intend to use social media as a source. IronManCap (talk) 16:34, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
I might be WP:Retiring very soon so I'm just going to try and work on Karacahisar Castle. To improve the historical accuracy section on Ertugrul's article will be a hard job, we'll be having to search into a lot of Turkish and English sources. The lead section also needs expansion.
I’m sorry to hear that, Limorina, of course feel free to work on what you wish. I’m thinking of taking a WP:Wikibreak soon anyway. I hope you change your mind, but it’s your choice at the end of the day. IronManCap (talk) 11:21, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
Limorina, I’m just creating Bala, you copy pasted the Malhun ‘casting’ info, Bala is a more important character than Malhun as it stands. Just Bala and Selcan and we’re done, you even created an Abdurrahman one, so it’s fine. IronManCap (talk) 14:13, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
IronManCap, that Bala article is not good, it only has one award cited to a WP:RS, and is largely a work of fiction. I'm going to request it for merging with List of awards and nominations received by Kuruluş: Osman or List of Kuruluş: Osman characters#Bala Hatun or nominate it for deletion because it's simply pointless to have that article because like aformentioned, notability is based on the real-world info not the in-universe information. Don't take me wrong with a thought that I'm only targetting your articles, I'm thinking about abandoning Draft:Princess Saljan too and adding that Maria B thing to List of DE and KO characters#Selcan Hatun due to the same reasons because it's not much. I told you not to create that Süleyman Şah article because one; there are too many character articles for a TV series that isn't so notable in my opinion (don't make this an argument, just an opinion), and two; there isn't much information about him, one part of it can easily be merged with List of DE characters and the other part can be merged with the KO article. Limorina (talk) 13:10, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: We can still add Gökçe's reception into Selcan’s article, I’ve already added Gündoğdu’s bit, it will be the same size as the Bamsi and Çiçek ones and it will be fine. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 18:10, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: Google ‘Gökçe Geo News’, there are too many sources for me to add here, she’s arguably got more than Selcan and Gündoğdu combined. I remember she wore a Pakistani bridal dress which was highly talked about, [1] if you want a highlight. IronManCap (talk) 19:01, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
We'll carry on with it then if you like, but it'll be hard for me to find the BoDK info about Saljan because Kan Turalı's story isn't at Wikisource. I guess we can still use external sources by making a simple "Princess Saljan" search, please help me though. Limorina (talk) 19:12, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina:, this source [2] looks good, you have to scroll down quite a lot though for the bit about Kanturali and Saljan. Kanturali is also a KO character from season 1 if you remember (don’t worry, I’m not going to suggest an article for him ). IronManCap (talk) 19:32, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
It was a non-free file however, it was nominated for deletion because there was already a non-free file on that page (which was recently deleted). The discussion was abandoned because it no longer met the criteria for deletion (which is a bit unjust) and abandoned discussions mean the image is deleted. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The image had been changed to the deleted version, it is now no longer the same as the deleted one, so therefore is no longer eligible for deletion. IronManCap (talk) 15:23, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
I think that the plot summaries that link to the historical people should be unlinked along with the bullet-pointed characters on the DE and KO character lists. Limorina (talk) 21:46, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
For your endless contributions to the in-universe information on articles related to Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman. Sorry for being a bit mean lately. I think you forgot to change the links on the templates for the Beys, Tekfurs etc. If you want, I'll do the links on the actor articles when I get time. Limorina (talk) 17:17, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

I don’t believe there was anything disruptive about the edits, I was mainly reverting vandalism by IPs, so I’m quite surprised about this message. I am aware of WP guidelines, I don’t see how reverting edits I thought were disruptive is disruptive, but I will make sure to ask for explanation on talk pages in future, if necessary. Thank you. IronManCap (talk) 18:50, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
I made a few edits and explained carefully what I did, and why, and you just reverted them all without an explanation. That's disruptive--at the very least it's not cool. The paragraph "it is the sequel to..." is irrelevant here, in a list of characters; it belongs in the main article. The title of the show should have been wikilinked at its first occurrence, not the second, and there was no need to put it in bold. The sentence I removed, "Most of the characters however, ..." was original research/editorial commentary, and the punctuation around "however" was incorrect. Finally, "notable characters" is a misnomer, since it's not clear what is meant. Historical characters are already notable in Wikipedia's sense, and using it in any other way blurs the distinction between what is notable in one way (historical) and notable in another way (as characters who are notable by Wikipedia's standards).
If you think edits are disruptive, you need to explain and indicate that, and if an editor does something and explains what they're doing, then it's not cool to just revert them. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 22:25, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
OK, Drmies, I’m sorry in that case, I didn’t actually make the article so I can agree a lot of that should have been changed, although I did disagree about the extent of the contents to include ‘one-off’ main characters, although I probably should have explained that. Thanks for clarifying. IronManCap (talk) 22:40, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

I don’t have much time nowadays Limorina, I guess you could say I’m semi-retired or on something of a wikibreak. I’ll try and contribute where I can. IronManCap (talk) 20:59, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Not really, and probably never will, I was on IMDb and I saw it was a popular TV series and worth an article I guess. Limorina (talk) 18:49, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: A lot of people like to repeatedly say that this series is better than KO (although from what I’ve seen of it, I disagree), so it’s generated a lot of interest. IronManCap (talk) 19:41, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
People who got angry at the fact that a new actor was playing the role of Ertuğrul or were tired of Osman in season 1 or even season 1 itself largely stopped watching KO and started watching UBS. I haven't even watched a short clip from the TV series neither will I, like aforementioned watch it, I just thought that it was worth an article, because it's pretty popular. Limorina (talk) 07:29, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
IronManCap, if you could, can you help me write the plot summaries for the television series' episodes, it's a lot of work and I need it done by the end of the week. If you don't mind and are free. Limorina (talk) 17:04, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: Well I don’t actually watch the series and am a bit busy atm, although this source [3] might be helpful if you scroll to the bottom, where there are links to episode-by-episode synopses. IronManCap (talk) 21:27, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
Başulu Hatun
Per all sources, it says that she died of childbirth in the first episode but then she also appears later on. I'm confused. Limorina (t • c) 19:14, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: Basically, she was seen as ‘illegitimate’ to be the Sultan’s wife as she was being slandered with unknown crimes. Therefore, Nizam al-Mulk made up the story that she had died from childbirth to cover her existence, hiding her in the Kinik tribe, and allowing Melikshah to be Sultan. Melikshah is therefore unaware that she is still alive, and doesn’t know Sencer is his son. Tapar only found out the truth about her mother a couple of episodes ago I think. I don't get why you keep undoing the extra information and saying the information needs to be brief when there is no rule that says this. And there is not a lot of information on Ibn Arabi anyway nor will there be because he's gone. Michelle Tomlinson (talk) 17:52, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
@Limorina: I think some are particularly notable, I think in particular the one where Ertuğrul dies has a lot of secondary sources about it in Pakistani media, so it could be worth a shot. IronManCap (talk) 18:22, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
It will be extremely challenging to find information for the DE episodes because it's been a while since those episodes have aired and some sources that existed at the time may not exist now. It may be worth doing the KOs2 episodes though. Limorina (t • c) 18:33, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Limorina, I only intend to really do the notable ones, and I think even English media discusses the Pilot DE episode. Ertuğrul's death episode and Osman's Beylik episode are definitely notable in terms of sources. IronManCap (talk) 18:36, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This draft is a request to spin off an article. Proposals to spin out a topic from an article into another stand-alone article should be discussed at the talk page of the existing article, unless the draft satisfies a special notability guide. If the draft satisfies a special notability guide, please identify the notability criterion with a reliable source.
This does not mean that the draft should be spun off, and it does not mean that the draft should not be spun off. It does mean that discussion should be on the talk page of the existing article, Talk:Captain America's shield. (If this draft is resubmitted without discussion on the talk page of the existing article and does not satisfy a special notability guide, it may be Rejected or nominated for deletion.)
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Captain America's shield (Marvel Cinematic Universe), click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic . Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
Yeah, I understand which is why I left you a message here. WP:NCCOMICS notes that character articles (and by extension, redirects) should have "(character)" and not "(comics)" disambiguations. --Gonnym (talk) 17:36, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
Please stop changing article images without establishing a consensus for the change. As noted, your image still has issues and you seem to have a deep lack of understanding on how non-free images are used on Wikipedia. -- Netoholic@21:59, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
@Netoholic: There was established consensus on talk between two editors. You did not object. Your behaviour is now seeming unconstructive and uncivil. Anyway, I will let you argue your case again against popular consensus, since you seem to assume you have a veto against consensus on this article. Thank you. IronManCap (talk) 22:02, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
That is not true. Alternatives have been suggested, but your alternative images have issues that have been raised by myself and others - specifically your sourcing, which is lax and concerning. -- Netoholic@22:06, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
@Netoholic: an exact source has been provided for the image. It is quite frankly not possible to be more specific about the source. You are really clutching at straws here. IronManCap (talk) 22:08, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
@Netoholic: The sourcing issue was raised, so I corrected it. I assume you haven't bothered to check, since your primary concern is that you don't want this image. Please do feel free to raise more objections, even though this image has been agreed upon between four other editors (3 on talk, one thank). IronManCap (talk) 22:11, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

Oh if the show actually calls the city Constantinople in-universe I'm interested in just stating "Constantinople". I am interested in hearing an audio sample and/or reading official subtitles

Need Help with another Turkish drama Ramo
Hey, I saw that you are quite active on the Diriliş: Ertuğrul page so I think you are the person I should reach out to for helping me create the Ramo (TV series) page. While I wrote the basic points, It would be quite helpful if you can have a look at it. Moreover I need a bit of help especially regarding: The Episode List: The Episode list is a mess since many episodes don't have episode names and the first season has only 11 episodes compared to the second seasons 30 eps. It would be helpful if you fix that. Image: I saw that the Diriliş: Ertuğrul page has the logo of the show. How exactly did that happen? Doesn't the logo fall under copyright ie: you can't use it on Wiki? Anyways, thanks in advance!Rasalghul1711 (talk) 08:26, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi Rasalghul1711, thanks for your message. The episode table should probably follow the format of other articles, for example have a look at Kuruluş: Osman (season 2) or Diriliş: Ertuğrul (season 1). I can certainly help with that, whilst the episodes with no name can just be called 'Episode 1' etc. About the logo, if it is copyrighted it has to be uploaded under a claim of 'fair use' on Wikipedia. If you wish, you can link a logo here and I will upload it for you. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 14:43, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Hey IronManCap Thanks for reaching out, okay I'll try to replicate the same episode format used. Meanwhile could you please upload this file in Ramo (TV series). I uploaded it in commons but I'm pretty sure it will be deleted. So you can download the photo and re-upload it. Thanks for reaching out! Rasalghul1711 (talk) 14:54, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Ok Rasalghul1711, if you have any difficulty with the episode tables then let me know. I couldn't access your image unfortunately, so I will upload another title card. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 15:05, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Hey IronManCap. I was not able to add the Episode list. Diriliş: Ertuğrul (season 1) used the Template Episode List. However when I tried adding it the template Episode list had no sections to add info in. I also tried copy-pasting the source code of the template but to no avail. In {{Ramo (Tv series)] I've added the episode list in the form of a table so if you could transfer that information properly in a template like Kuruluş: Osman (season 2) or Diriliş: Ertuğrul (season 1) it would be extremely helpful. Thanks Rasalghul1711 (talk) 11:14, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
@Rasalghul1711: I have added the episodes in that template for season 1. Feel free to try and replicate it for season 2, and come back here if you have issues. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 13:57, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Hey IronManCap, I tried a lot to add the template however for some reason whenever I click Apply instead of making a template all the source code just shows (even in the Visual Mode). Is there a tutorial I can follow or can you also do it for season 2

Hey friend! Question for you - I realized today there is no MCU specific article for Nebula, the MCU version links here. I believe she is a central enough character deserving of her own article. Interesting in teaming with me and creating one? Bloodyboppa (talk) 02:02, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi IronManCap, hope you are doing fine during these unprecedented times, I was here to suggest you a script: You can copy this and paste in your common.js page: importScript('User:Ohconfucius/script/MOSNUM dates.js')
This script helps you to fix dates according to their format, like if you use this script on any article, you can convert all the dates into their format according to their country, also I noticed that you are a huge fan of MCU, and if you want you can display this userbox on your userpage. Thank you. TahaaleemTalk14:48, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Hey IronManCap, hope you are fine, I want to ask you one question, who is your favourite character from MCU and who is your favourite villain from MCU? Thank you. TahaaleemTalk16:17, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi Tahaaleem, sorry I just gave you a thank last time instead of fully replying. I have quite a few favourites, but if I had to choose one I'd probably say Tony Stark / Iron Man as my favourite hero (you could probably tell from my username). As for favourite villain, I really like Loki as he's funny, although I like Killmonger and Thanos as well. Winter Soldier is probably the most interesting character overall. IronManCap (talk) 16:30, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the response, I am a long-time MCU fan, I have been a MCU fan since 2017, my favourite character is also Iron Man and I also like Gamora, and my most favourite villain is Thanos, and I agree that Loki is funny. I am looking forward to watch Black Widow, Spider-Man: No Way Home and various other movies which will catch my attention. Thank you. TahaaleemTalk20:12, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I explained that Loki is literally a Frost Giant. As stated in the article, we learned in the first Thor movie that he was born a Frost Giant and abandoned as an infant by his biological father Laufey, only to be found and raised by Odin. Because of this, I would argue that Category:Marvel Comics giants is absolutely defining, because it describes what the character literally is. Similarly, the category is also used on the article for Loki (comics), so I think it would make sense for it to also be on the page for his MCU counterpart. The Editor 155 (talk) 17:46, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
@IronManCap: Okay no problem. Thanks for adding the category back in. I'll also add the description of Loki being a Frost Giant on the article's talk page so it will be clear to other editors. The Editor 155 (talk) 18:09, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Accidental click
Dear User:IronManCap, I apologise for the revert I made here. It was due to an accidental click as I have the page on my watchlist. Kind regards, AnupamTalk16:51, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
