I gave myself a bunny!Ah, that feels better... ![]() The "soft bunny" of happiness and tranquility.
I may be 63, but the small child version of me is still very much alive! I love bunnies. When I was a toddler I would grab every animal I set eyes on, from bees to horses, in order to try to pet it, or hug it and kiss it. Of course I got bitten and stung quite a lot by a large range of different beasties, but that has not discouraged me. I'm still out there trying to hug the world regardless of whether it hugs me back or not. Maybe you are the same? Hugs and bunnies to you too, Invertzoo (talk) 14:05, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Love dartThanks for your comment. Well, actually, in my experience love darts are not very much like "darts". We can say they have the shape of a dart, but they are not fired like a real dart. It can take ten minutes to half an hour from the moment you can see the tip of the dart in the snail, until it is left behind by the animal. I have never seen the dart entering the other animal, it just falls and becomes part of the snail's trail, similar to what happens to their excrements. I did not touch the love dart until it was well behind both snails, so I did not interfere. Eynar Oxartum (talk) 23:20, 4 March 2012 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for March 5Hi. When you recently edited Pisanianuridae, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Superfamily(check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It is a good idea to always include the taxon parameter; it helps make sure the taxobox does not get messed up during page moves. — Ganeshk (talk) 22:38, 5 March 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 05 March 2012
First Lady of MalacologyYou'd be happy to know I wrote my first malacology article :) Myra Keen. SO happy to see you drop by the Teahouse! Sarah (talk) 21:41, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for helping outHi Invertzoo! Thank you for helping out and weighing in on the scientific name vs. "common name" discussion. Although I too have heard that species locally referred to as theGeoduck clam, undoubtedly common name usage is not always universal - like in bird species. For some strange reason not a lot of people think of mollusks as "sexy" or "cool" critters! Do we want to come up with some WikiProject Gastropods and WikiProject Bivalves standard guidelines that take into account the Wikipedia Fauna guidelines that the speaker was relying upon, and if so how do we deal with these issues like the "littleneck clam" aka "Quahog" (what the heck is "hard clam") formally known as Mercenaria mercenaria, as these issues are bound to arise repeatedly. We have articles on Abalone which maybe could and should link to Haliotidae, or vice versa. Any thoughts? thanks a lotDear Invertzoo, Thank you very much for your nice words. It took me some time to learn the very basics of creating new pages, but now I love it and will continue whenever I have time. Yes, that's me, Barna Páll-Gergely. I'm from Hungary, but I'm currently doing PhD in Japan, and will return to Hungary in 2 weeks for 3 months. Is your name Susan J. Hewitt? I can see your numeruous and wonderful papers! Could you please tell me who is Bishop M. J, I think he/she wrote the paper about Amphidromus genitalia, which I currently use in my studies about the genus. I'm very happy to meet you here. All the best: Barna —Preceding unsigned comment added byPall-Gergely (talk •contribs) 21:11, 16 March 2012 (UTC) Merci

I had the bot update the importance rating based on the taxon rank. There are few that still need rating. — Ganeshk (talk) 02:02, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

I've put my name on the list of applications forWikipedia:HighBeam/Applications. I advise you to do the same and I'll give the same advise to Shellnut. With the three of us, we are more likely to obtain at least one free, full-access, 1-year HighBeam Research account. Imagine, being able to read all those scientific articles hidden beyond a paywall ! JoJan (talk) 16:16, 21 March 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 26 March 2012
