I made the changes to Draft:Huang Renjun page by adding more citations to the family portion, but I also added in more citations to the whole article as well. Would you mind to check it and let me know if there's anything else I should change? Thank you so much! Intuivo (talk) 10:39, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
@Intuivo: thank you for getting back to me about my comment on your draft. It is definitely in a better shape and has better referencing. I would recommend copyediting the article so that it it follows the guidelines at WP:MOS, although that is not necessary for acceptance. Hi IntersellarGamer12321, could you please take a look at my draft again? I'm trying to remove the unverified sources but another editor rolls it back and claims i'm doing a vandalism. But i'm not sure why it's so and i don't want the unverified sources to stay there. So sorry for troubling you again, thanks so much! Intuivo (talk) 02:56, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
@Intuivo: if you are unsure about why an editor has reverted or removed your edits you can always politely approach them on their talk page to ask for an explanation, as you have already done. They have already helpfully explained what you needed to do, so I do not need to explain much. Also, I would consider merging Draft:Huang Renjun and Draft:Renjun (singer) together so that the references and information are combined, making them into a single better article. One of the titles can be WP:Redirected to the other. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 09:42, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi again! Sorry i can't remove your Afc comment, could you help me remove it if you felt like my citation for family is enough? The same editor flagged and warned me about it. Intuivo (talk) 10:26, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
As stated to Intuivo on their talk page, it isn't their responsibilities as draft editor to remove the AfC comments and the comments should be retained till the draft is accepted and moved to mainspace thereafter removed by the same reviewer as post-AfC cleanup process. —Paper9oll(🔔 • 📝)10:54, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
@Intuivo: as Paper9oll has helpfully told you AfC comments must stay on the draft until it has been accepted; they are automatically removed when the article is moved to mainspace. AfC reviewers are able to tell that the issues highlighted by a previous reviewer have been fixed. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 12:35, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
Hello! Thank you for taking a read of the article and for your comment. I updated the Draft:Cody Snyder article per your comment to include further citations and removed a couple of statements/claims that I could not find a verifiable source for. Reading through some of the other comments on your talk page I believe that the article was also copyedited on June 8th but please correct me if I am wrong. Would you mind taking another look at it and see if further edits are necessary prior to being formally reviewed? Cheers! MollyMylo (talk) 19:35, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
@MollyMylo: thank you for getting back to me about my comment on your draft. I have taken another look at the article and the two areas that need more references are the first sentences of the Early life section and the last paragraph of the Retirement section. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 10:14, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
Appreciate you taking another look. I have added another reference to the Early life section (first three sentences are from the same source) and updated the last paragraph of the Retirement section to include another citation. Thank you again! MollyMylo (talk) 22:35, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
@InterstellarGamer12321 Hi again! I am hoping you can answer/clarify another question I have on this article. I have noticed that it is not being indexed by search engines, and after some research I found the Wikipedia:Controlling search engine indexing page and the way I interpret it although the article is still <90 days old that your review and publish into the main space would override the NOINDEX. The article is also listed on the Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reports/Easy reviews page under "Unreviewed AFC-accepted articles", and again I thought that your review would satisfy the requirements to allow search engine indexing? Thank you in advance!! MollyMylo (talk) 03:08, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
@MollyMylo: once the article is accepted in mainspace by an AfC reviewer it again needs to be accepted by a new page patroller, who patrols new pages in mainspace to check for any issues such as vandalism, copyright and BLP violations that would mean the page would need to be deleted. Only then will it be indexed by search engines. This is a different user right to AfC reviewing, and I am not currently a new page patroller (see the invitation on my user talk below). Please wait for a new page patroller to review the article or wait for it to turn 90 days old if you want it to be indexed by search engines. Thank you for your comments on my first attempt at a wikipedia draft.
Your comments are much appreciated. I really underestimated the conflict of interest rules and regulations. In my case this page is a genuine track of my sports and entertainment career to date.
Hello @InterstellarGamer12321, thank you for reviewing my submission - I have made the changes you suggested. Would really appreciate you having a look at it again as this bio urgently needs to go on Wikipedia. Faliyahya (talk) 13:35, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
@Faliyahya: thank you for getting back to me about my comment on your draft. I have two main concerns remaining:
First of all, this is a WP:BLP article, meaning that all statements and claims should be backed up with inline citations to reliable sources. The Early Life section and the last line of the lead are both currently completely unreferenced, and should be backed up with inline citations to reliable sources or removed if they are unverifiable.
Secondly, notability has not been firmly established, because we need multiple sources independent of the subject (WP:SECONDARY) and with significant coverage of the subject. Sources 4 and 5 are currently the only ones which meet these criteria, so I would recommend adding more references. Additionally, copyedit the article to make sure that it is neutral and explain why they are notable.
