This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mjolnir (comics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Battle of New York. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
Yeah, I receive those every so often for the few articles I've made. You must be inundated with notifs all the time then. IronManCap (talk) 19:52, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi there, I am currently working on the Google Opinion Rewards Wikipedia article, I have noticed that you have deleted all my work, I have taken note of your comments that you left behind and am currently working to fix the issues you've noted. I am currently working on that article to improve it from a stub class as part of a university assignment and to develop my Wikipedia skills. May I ask you to please not delete my work over the next couple of weeks but rather leave me notes on my talk page indicating how I can improve the article and I will take them into consideration and fix them up immediately. Finally, I am still learning so I'd highly appreciate it if you can take it easy on me! Thanks --Rayyy2000 (talk) 02:11, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
@Rayyy2000: Thank you for your message. I'll be sure to look over your future edits to Google Opinion Rewards and leave you feedback. Looking back at your edit which I reverted, we could probably keep some of the content you added with a few tweaks, so I apologize for removing them all at once. Still, some of the content which you added (most notably the "Operation" section, which do not conform to Wikipedia's guidelines not to include detailed instructions) cannot be kept. I wasn't aware that you were part of a Wikipedia Education class, so I hope this does not discourage you from editing on Wikipedia in the future! InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:32, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
I have restored some of the content you added after making some tweaks to the wording and formatting. Feel free to add more content to the article when you're ready. InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:43, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi there InfiniteNexus. I don't beleve we've spoken before. I'm KyleJoan. Nice to make your acquaintance! I see that you've been removing links for Marvel characters and adding nonexistent ones for their Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts.[1][2] May I ask why? KyleJoantalk00:27, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@KyleJoan: Hi there KyleJoan, just saw your message. As IronManCap noted, these links will point to their corresponding sections in Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the films/series have been released, so they are not nonexistent. This way, if these characters receive their own individual articles in the future, we don't need to change all of their links one by one. Hope this clears up the confusion. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:36, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@IronManCap@InfiniteNexus: Thank you for the clarification! I said nonexistent because it seemed like the intention was to link the actual characters' Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts' articles, which don't exist. In that case, is linking the particular sections about the characters in the MCU more appropriate than just linking the article (e.g., Ikaris#Film > Ikaris)? It doesn't seem helpful to readers to only read a section that explains that the film is being made, X wrote it, Y directed it, filming commenced, and Z is playing the character, especially when the links were placed to lead to articles that expand on characterization. In Pugh's case, the redirect leads to a slightly copyedited version of the character description on the Black Widow (2021 film) article, which is already linked in the same sentence, so I don't see how that's more helpful either. That film isn't being released for another month, so while we wait for the creation of specific sections in the Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe article, why not aid casual, Marvel-illiterate readers as much as we can? KyleJoantalk00:52, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
As I said, in Pugh's case, readers can gather every piece of information found on Black Widow (Yelena Belova)#Film from the film's article since both are linked in the same sentence, so the redirect does not help readers. If it's going to take another month or so to have more descriptive sections, then why not wait and work with the character articles that we do have rather than link sections that give less information? Why the rush to redirect before the retargets are established? KyleJoantalk01:17, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
The formatting on my archives was weird as well. I had to get several archive pages deleted to get the bot to be happy. IronManCap (talk) 17:20, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Ben Tennyson - Powers and Abilities
Why did you undo my edits?
I was just expanding the page to include the Powers and Abilities of Ben Tennyson, like a lot of other superheroes have on their Wikipedia pages.
And all of the information I wrote down is correct and from series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:70BE:F700:B5DB:E7A:9840:C1D5 (talk) 17:19, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Hi @InfiniteNexus: I noticed you have extensive experience as an editor and are part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television. I would greatly appreciate your input on my draft for YouTube Pride 2021. You can find the draft here: User:Peony1432/sandbox. I should disclose that I have a conflict of interest because I work for Google.
Hey there @Peony1432, thank you for the message and thank you for disclosing your conflict of interest. As some editors have noted here, this event will likely not be notable until at least the event has occured next week or if you can find more sources documenting this event. A good comparison would be Dear Class of 2020, which only became an article four days after the event occurred, and only after the full schedule had been unveiled. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:30, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your response. Since the event is now over, I updated the draft for YouTube Pride 2021 and added more sources and details. Would you mind taking another look? You can find the draft here: User:Peony1432/sandbox. Thank you Peony1432 (talk) 21:30, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
Ah, after going through the page history, I see what you were trying to do. In order to lower a heading level, decrease the number of equal signs from each ends of the heading (i.e. from ===Text=== to ==Text==). I have fixed the issue, so don't worry about it. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:14, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
While Yelena does refer to it as a "synthetic gas", Dreykov refers to it as just "gas". Do you think "synthetic" adds anything here? I can go either way, but this Plot summary keeps creeping up to 700 words, so when one word works instead of more, I'm generally in favor of brevity. Thanks. Contributor tom (talk) 08:59, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
I think having just "gas" would be too vague, but if you really think the plot summary is getting too large I'm fine with either way. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:40, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
I'm uncomfortable with the quotes surrounding a pair of ordinary English words. I'll remove them but keep synthetic, though you might consider replacing that with just red if you want to be more specific. Thanks. Contributor tom (talk) 17:30, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you're asking, but to access the MCU Release Guide that I made, click here. To view its source code, click here. To transclude it, place {{User:InfiniteNexus/MCU Release Guide}} on your destination. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:33, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
Hi anon, I didn't give you "permission" for the edit, the pending changes guideline says that "Acceptance of an edit by a reviewer is not an endorsement of the edit." in fact, I have expressed concern accepting the edit in the public log of the acceptance (but no one looks at that anyways). Justiyaya19:04, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
I believe that the revert by InfiniteNexus is perfectly justified (although the warning template might be a bit harsh?) and you both should give your reasons as why the part should or shouldn't be included and try to come up with a solution. Please keep me updated (ping me) if there is further development to this. Justiyaya19:13, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Hi.There is no point in adding romanization because 'Sergey Brin' is romanization on its self.Beside this romanization is not commonly used in general and in romanization of names(Russian passport does"t use it), so there is no point in overly complicating it.Even Russian state doesn,t use it.Source:Link requested to be whitelisted: https://tinyurl.com/4yjssjjv (If you read it you will see that 'х' is romanized as'kh', 'й' as 'y', 'ч' as 'ch' ,and there is no mentions of 'é' or'á').Any way I am going to sleep now.Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.197.251.217 (talk) 19:50, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Are those the actual and official names or just fan (and I call those websites which make up names fan sites in this regard as well) names? Gonnym (talk) 14:53, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
@Gonnym: The aliases are official, and originate from this, as InfiniteNexus noted. "Zombie Iron Man" originated from this, and whilst not an official name for now, Iron Man does appear as a zombie per the trailers, and I don't see the harm in calling it "Zombie Iron Man" if we have "Zombie Captain America" already, especially supported by a secondary source. Hi @InfiniteNexus, I saw that you proposed to move Fuchsia (software) to Fuchsia (operating system) because it is more accurate. That is correct, but WP:NCDAB states at the third point that "the generic class" should be used. "software" is more generic than "operating system", and therefore the preferred option. Do you agree with me about this? In that case, can you retract the move? Otherwise, let me know. PhotographyEdits (talk) 15:15, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
@JRobinson99: This is not solely based on the Rotten Tomatoes score, but rather the entire "Critical response" section. In fact, the Metacritic summary reads mixed or average reviews. If you wish to contest this WP:STATUSQUO wording, please discuss on the article's talk page first instead of simply reverting my edits (which may be considered WP:DISRUPTIVE or WP:EDITWARRING). InfiniteNexus (talk) 15:57, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
First, thanks for your hard work to keep Wikipedia up-to-date and accurate. I truly appreciate the efforts of editors such as yourself to make this site safe and reliable.
I tried to add my twitter account to my Wikipedia page as an anonymous editor yesterday, but it was removed. Is it possible to add social media accounts to a public figure’s Wikipedia page under external links?
For reasons I think we can both understand, superhero film cast lists tend to attract endless tinkering (only military films, where enthusiasts want to include every rank variation, seem to come close) in comparison to other film genres. WP:CASTLIST exists in part to establish a standardized baseline for how we present casts in order to avoid endless edit wars over "Dr. Henry 'Hank' McCoy" vs. "Hank McCoy" vs. "Beast" vs. "Hank McCoy / Beast" vs...you get the idea. There is a provision in CASTLIST that states All names should be referred to as credited, or by common name supported by a reliable source (emphasis mine); however, we don't normally do this unless there is some reason the additional information/name is necessary and/or advisable (e.g., properly identifying the Cloaked Figure played by Temeura Morrison in the ninth episode of The Mandalorian) or in the case of uncredited characters (such as Taylor-Johnson and Olsen in the second Captain America film). Even so, it's a precarious thing to do with superhero films, because different secondary sources can still present different variations (some sources called Elizabeth Olsen the Scarlet Witch long before the MCU established her as such, and there is already edit warring at the Venom: Let There Be Carnage article over whether or not Graham's character is Toxin), at which point the initial problem re-presents itself. Grandpallama (talk) 14:34, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
@Grandpallama: I get not naming their superhero aliases if they are not made clear in the film, but the full names which I added are explicitly stated in the film or the previous installments, plus they are backed up by multiple reliable sources in the article. Nonetheless, I have no desire to spend time fighting for this change, so I'll just let it slide for now. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:17, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

Why are you deleting my edits citing it to be trivial info?
Hi InfiniteNexus,
Why are you deleting my contributions/edits citing it to be trivial information on Google Forms? It's a stub article and it barely has any details. I added very relevant information that would help users understand more of it's features and the edit made talks about a very cool feature of google forms that was never there before. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DiagonAlly7 (talk • contribs) 04:04, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
Are you able to provide an updated image of the Google Slides interface that falls under fair use? The current one that can be found on the Google Slides Wikipedia page is in fact outdated, so any help would be much appreciated in replacing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:194:c000:1430:dc1f:9d37:9651:ca71 (talk) 19:18, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
@ViperSnake151:{{Infobox software}} states that the "Developer" parameter is for the Name of the current developer of the software (bolding my own). Therefore, how should it still say Facebook and not Meta? Also, I see no problem with indicating the fact that FB is now known as Meta in the lede. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:58, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
Oculus products are hardware, not software. And that is also about having multiple developers. Look at all of the classic Macintosh products (i.e. Power Mac G4) and notice that the company is consistently addressed as Apple Computer, and not retconned to Apple, Inc. ViperSnake151 Talk 21:27, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

On 13 November 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pixel 6, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Pixel 6 is the first smartphone to be powered by the Google Tensor system on a chip (SoC)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Pixel 6. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Pixel 6), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Hi. If you want to remove the Birds of Prey article reference, fine. But the Jessica Chastain stuff is too much. You're putting a negative spin on two women with no evidence whatsoever. Randolph hasn't referenced Chastain in years, that's an old clip people keep using of Randolph saying Chastain shouldn't be cast in It Chapter 2. As for Chastain's recent comment re an online troll, you can in no way RESPONSIBLY argue that she's talking about Grace Randolph. She references that troll's personal life, and Randolph NEVER talks about her personal life online in any way. Please don't put that section back. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChromaticaCali (talk • contribs) 01:57, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Also, the article that's used a source does not come from an entertainment website that's regarded by Wikipedia as a reliable source, per the same page you used to justify taking out my Birds of Prey article for reference. Again, thank you. ChromaticaCali (talk) 02:19, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
@ChromaticaCali: Just so we're clear, I am not the editor who added this information to that article, but I will let this slide given that I have had doubts about the neutrality of the info for a while now. Also, don't quote me on this, but as a general rule of thumb, I would say that news articles are usually considered reliable unless they are obviously sketchy or have been deemed reliable by the Wikipedia community. See also WP:VNT, but perhaps only citing that article was given it WP:UNDUE weight. On a related matter, I strongly advise you to read WP:SPA because I'm starting to get suspicious about your edit history. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:41, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
This should be discussed on the article talkpage, ChromaticaCali. You've been told that before, and thus far, your editing history at WP has only been to remove content critical of Randolph. Grandpallama (talk) 19:37, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Hey, just a fan of hers - don't like how she's treated online and you can see that trolls target her page here. Next time I see something I think is unfair I'll run it past you two instead of making the change myself - I thought you both handled this really fairly and cool. ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
Hello. You have repeatedly reverted the edits concerning the related media to the SSU. This fact has been confirmed by both Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal jointly, as well as individually. Additionally, Tom Holland's Spider-Man appears in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. This topic has already been discussed on the talk page. The 'relation' between previous Spider-Man films and the SSU are also all self-evident by the plot of No Way Home. I am taking to the talk page to further discuss this, m8! Cheers.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 05:53, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
I have responded on the SSU talk page, but I'll add this: I never suggested that the MCU is not related to the SSU, I said it is separate. Feige and Pascal's comments about how they collaborated on the mid-credits scene do not say anything about how the SSU is set in the same continuity as the MCU. And everything about No Way Home is still just speculation so far. InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:21, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
Hey, I'm not sure if you've seen the Kublai Khan page, but "Wenwu" has only one mention as an apparently posthumously appended title (listed in the infobox). The name is not mentioned anywhere in the article, and I have not seen it referenced by any source. When I referenced WP:COMMONNAME, I did so because "Wenwu" is in no way a common name for Kublai Khan, even in Chinese. His normal Chinese title is the equivalent of "Emporer Shizu of Yuan". On the other hand: Wenwu is the first name of the TV character; the name is frequently used in reference to the character in isolation (unlike for Kublai Khan, where the name Wenwu only forms part of a four-name title: Emperor Shèngdé Shéngōng Wénwǔ); and the character is the overwhelmingly more likely intended destination for readers. Check google: [3] - there's not even a whiff of a mention of Kublai Khan. Also Ngram: [4] Does this really need a move request? Iskandar323 (talk) 07:20, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
Forgive me if I'm wrong in thinking this, but it seems like all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters have that attribution in brackets after their name - presumably to make it clear at the outset that the articles involve fictional characters. Iskandar323 (talk) 06:50, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
Nope, a parenthetical disambiguation is only necessary when the non-disambiguated title (i.e. without the (Marvel Cinematic Universe)) is occupied by another article. For example, Sylvie (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is so named because there is already an article called Sylvie, but Trevor Slattery does not need the (Marvel Cinematic Universe) part because there was no other article occupying that name.
