Reorganising the campaignboxesI am thinking we should maybe reorganize these two campaignboxes Post-Aleppo and decline of ISIL (December 2016–September 2017) and ISIL collapse in Syria (September 2017–present). The first one should be titled Post-Aleppo and ISIL collapse in Syria (December 2016–November 2017) and the second should be titled Rebel decline (December 2017–present) (or something similar). The second should include: 3rd Northwestern Syria, Turkish operation in Idlib, Harasta & Beit Jinn. What do you think? EkoGraf (talk) 15:57, 8 January 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 15Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tanukhids, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Transjordan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:36, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Closure of RM on Alleged attempted assassination of Nicolás MaduroSurely the other discussion should have been closed, because every response it got said “we should move it, but a different name than the one suggested”, and not close the one trying to do exactly that (propose a better name). Seems like logic was skipped for closing the discussion that opened second. Do you agree that the one you closed should be reopened, and, if needed, the other discussion closed. Ping failedHi, thanks for the ping here, but it failed. Ping only works if you ping and add a fresh signature in a single edit; this can be a nuisance! See mw:Help:Echo#Technical details. You might want to revert your two edits and re-post them as one, with a fresh sig; that should do it. – Fayenatic London 21:52, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

Place Clichy (talk) 16:13, 17 September 2018 (UTC) 2017 commentI'm sure by now that the Iranian military involvement in Syria has become plain. Iran may be fundamentally opposed to Ba'athist philosophy in general, but the Syrian regime is the only other terrorist state in the region, and arguably the only other major player that is a dictatorship. Iran supports them out of fear of being completely isolated - the mullahs fear a military attack on them more than anything else, their personal loss of power. Have a nice day. 104.169.41.8 (talk) 12:32, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
As far as I can tell the Second Afar insurgency is the rebel part of the conflict while the government bit has ended. I think putting the Eritrean–Ethiopian border conflict as an ongoing event is a bit misleading. This is a grey area that needs sourcing in any case. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:36, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
