Happy Wiki-ing. -- John Fader 18:43, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC) Image Tagging Image:200520-1085980625.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:200520-1085980625.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stan 05:37, 26 January 2006 (UTC) WikiProject DC TemplateAs you're removing NBA players who are only partially related to DC, I've been attempting to remove the DC wikiproject templates from articles about non-notable Redskins and Senators players. Some guy obviously went through and tagged every single person from a team with the DC template. If you care to help out there as well, it would be appreciated. Best, -epicAdam (talk) 17:36, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
The ReasonOkay, to be totally honest, my reason for removing that image from the EPMD article is because it is beyond a shadow of a doubt, pointless. Come on, a t-shirt? Of all things you could have uploaded, you uploaded a t-shirt that for all we know could be a bootleg. It really serves no point and is just an unwelcome cluster on two articles. Nyttend (talk) 20:04, 21 April 2009 (UTC) Darn good one, too. Your definition, I believe, is the correct one. There's no city government in a place like, say, Cadiz. It was little more than a railroad siding at best even in its heyday. Riverside County has a few places as well. Vista Santa Rosa comes to mind. So does Thermal. Both are listed as unincorporated by county-posted signs at the "town" limits. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:57, 28 April 2009 (UTC) Unreferenced BLPs
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 10:20, 25 January 2010 (UTC) Just tah Let U KnowHave you not seen the discussions at Wikiproject:National Basketball Association? User:LOL has changed the format to Template:Infobox NBA Player so it can now be used for both active and retired players much like the NFL players. As for the NBA Retired infobox, that is being phased out completly as we no longer need it. You dig? We noticed though that when you edited 1992 Major League Baseball season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Texas Rangers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Need collaboratorsI am in need of neutral collaboration on a major remake of the article Investigative Project on Terrorism, and was wondering if you had some extra time. I saw where you made a correction to the article regarding an irrelevant segment that needed to be removed. There is a great deal more that is wrong with the article, and I've been trying to get it corrected, but not without resistance. I started the following revision under the correct name - Investigative Project on Terrorism Foundation. The Foundation was formed in 2006, and is the only legally recognized non-profit organization with the name Investigative Project on Terrorism. The self-published website for IPT also published incorrect information about its organization's non-profit status. I included reliable sources proving the information is incorrect, but the only changes that were made allegedly violate WP:SYNTH among others. It has been an uphill battle to get anything done. Almost everything else that is included in the article is either incorrect, or misleading. Some of it belongs in the Steven Emerson article, and not in the IPT article. Would you be interested in helping to further correct and improve the article, provided it can be improved? The majority of cited sources are self-published, and there doesn't appear to be but a few 2nd sources, and they are not neutral. Thank you in advance....Atsme☯Consult 03:02, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
Your merge request at EmersonDid you request closing the Emerson merge per a WP:ANRFC request? For some reason, I thought you requested a deadline for discussion. I'm thinking whoever closed the discussion was going on a prior merge request, but that doesn't automatically close your request because the reviewer even stated there were issues that might have influenced the decision had they been presented. Atsme☯Consult 20:40, 25 September 2014 (UTC) Just an FYI about IPT...As a previously involved editor, I thought you'd like to know that the recent BLPN regarding the template on IPT has closed, (not yet archived), and the determination was that the template was a violation of BLP per WP:BLPGROUPS. [1] Notification was also posted to the Template's Talk page. [2]. It's that time of year!!![]() Minor editsPlease don't mark your edits as minor unless they truly are minor. You're an experienced editor, so I hesitate to point you to WP:MINOR, but you have been incorrectly marking almost every one of your edits as minor for more than a decade. Information neededWill you please tell why you thought a photograph of a sales receipt from Shiekh Shoes was an appropriate illustration for an article on that chain of shoe stores? i know this was back in 2012, but even by our practices at the time, it seems to need some explanation.
