Speedy deletion nomination of Principality of Garageland![]()
A tag has been placed on Principality of Garageland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Removal of your editsThe Gathering Ireland 2013 was a notable event; your "micronation" is not. Coverage in reliable third-party sources is the primary inclusion (notability) criterion; your "nation" didn't attract any, as far as I can see. (The only Google hits are Wikipedia articles, where you added it yourself.) I believe "Garageland" is some kind of a private joke or Internet role-playing, if it exists at all. I was on the verge of blocking you from editing for spamming Wikipedia by trying to add "Garageland" into various articles, so please don't push your luck. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:04, 8 February 2015 (UTC) February 2015![]() {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} . However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Favonian (talk) 20:01, 9 February 2015 (UTC) |
