Speedy deletion of Flatlander (band)![]() A tag has been placed on Flatlander (band), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Decline reason: First, I'm sorry you weren't informed promptly about deletion review which is where requests like yours to undo deletions should really be placed. That said, you were asked repeatedly not to recreate the article but you just kept doing it. Furthermore, the article was totally uncited, and doesn't demonstrate the typical minimal standards for notability; in addition, the article was an advertisement. That's why you're blocked and I see no reason to believe you wouldn't return to such behavior if I were to unblock you early. Note, though, that your block is temporary: in 48 hours your block will expire and then you can return. When you do, don't re-create the article again or you'll be blocked for longer and longer periods. Use WP:DRV instead.
