Far Harbor

Hey David Fuchs, I've taken Fallout 4: Far Harbor to FAC again, and I'd love to know if the suggestions you left on the last one have been fixed, specifically the prose issues. A couple of users have gone through it a few times to make sure the prose is at the FA standards. If you want to leave comments, the page is here. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:05, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Help for FAC

Hello! Wonderful work with the "Yesterday's Enterprise" article. Your FAC for that article actually inspired me to put an episode of Star Trek: Voyager up for FAC. I was wondering if you could possibly provide some comments for my current FAC? I am very fortunate to have receive very helpful comments/response only a couple of days after putting up the FAC. I understand if you do not have the time. I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Aoba47 (talk) 02:59, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi David Fuchs,

I was planning to candidate the article linked for FA, but I would like a second opinion on that. When you have free time, could you take a look, and post on the article talk page if there are concerns? -- 1989 22:55, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

Hey User:1989, I took a look at the article. Overall, it looks pretty solid; there's excellent topic coverage. The weakness I see is mainly the prose; it's a bit informal in places (using contractions) as well as a bit stilted, with repetitious phrasing. I'd suggest getting a good copyeditor to run through it and try and spruce it up. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 22:42, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
Thanks again for the feedback. I asked one of the copyeditors who copyedited the article before to do it again, and they said they couldn't find much of what you were saying. 1989 13:48, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Tos city-on-the-edge.png

Thank you for uploading File:Tos city-on-the-edge.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Memories of the importance of 2001

Previously I had mentioned the fifty year anniversary of Kubrick's film 2001 and you made some useful comments. I am now inclining to make a strong endorsement of your plan as you stated it then. Your plan was on the Talk page there for two months with no objections raised by anyone about it being a good plan. I have just starting adding the ASIN for the various video production and am ready to start in on your suggested editing. If you can start marking the sections which you might like to see abridged and revised according to your original plan possibly by using a section template announcement, then I can start to get to the trims. Your plan still is a good plan and all of us now know that there have been no objections raised by anyone for the entire normal archival period. Here is your original list of items for convenience:

It would be nice to see the article at FA for its fifty year anniversary milestone. JohnWickTwo (talk) 15:18, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Mentoring for Scarface (1932)

Hello, I have been working on an article for some time. I have recently gotten it promoted to good article and have been making improvements for my first featured article nomination. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the process and was wondering if you would be willing to help mentor me. My article is about the old Scarface from 1932 on which the 1983 version with Al Pacino was based. Thank you, I would really appreciate the help! Skyes(BYU) (talk) 21:34, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Hey @Skyes(BYU):, if you give me a week or so I'll take a look at the article and offer some thoughts on the talk page. Sound good? Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 17:24, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks! And take your time, I just submitted it to peer review as well. I need all the help I can get. I am mostly concerned about prose quality and MOS, but I am so inexperienced and I know that FA requires a rigorous review process so I am kind of concerned about everything actually. Skyes(BYU) (talk) 17:34, 16 August 2018 (UTC)

Ok I did this...

Keep straight on – there are trolls in the hedgerows.
"Imagine a world in which every single human being is a Wikimedian. That's my commitment!"
WMF pays possible Orangemoody ring for user research, and ditches MediaWiki for publishing its own blog. Knife-edge closures at RfA.
But unfortunately its output is incompatible with open licensing.
Plus: Simple English Wikipedia stays open, a discussion on draft header templates, bias blind spot by admins offered cash?

"Bridging knowledge gaps, the ubuntu way forward".
Very high and very low hits; love and loss.
Citation bot and mapframe enhancements; new licenses for Data space; possible hiccup on 12 September; per-user page, namespace, and upload blocking; and miscellaneous new bots and tools.
Some of the best pictures of 2017.
Readers prefer the AI's version 40% of the time – but it still suffers from hallucinations.
Nothing funny about it.

A slightly thinner issue, but out on time.
