• An RfC is open to determine whether the English Wikipedia community should adopt a position on AI development by the WMF and its affiliates.

Technical news

• A new feature called Multiblocks will be deployed on English Wikipedia on the week of June 2. See the relevant announcement on the administrators' noticeboard.
• History merges performed using the mergehistory special page are now logged at both the source and destination, rather than just the source as previously, after this RFC and the resolution of T118132.

Arbitration

• An arbitration case named Indian military history has been opened. Evidence submissions for this case close on 8 June.

Hi. I noticed DatBot resized a non-free SVG I uploaded. I was wondering what the point of that is, since as long as it's a valid SVG, you can render it in any size? The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 21:44, 18 June 2025 (UTC)

@The Squirrel Conspiracy: the software displays a raster image where SVGs are not supported, using the size of the image. DatGuy^Talk_Contribs 12:35, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

Dear DatGuy, I'm letting you know that this current logo: thumb|200px — of the historic club named CCFC from India — is absolutely wrong, and it is being created using softwares by an editor named ইমরান ভূইয়া recently, who "has been confirmed by a CheckUser as a sockpuppet of Aniruddhchaudhuy". I want your help to reinstall/revive the original logo (which is an SVG file with having properly sourced: Calcutta Cricket and Football Club Annual Report 2023 — PDF (archived version)]. The authentic file is that one in bottom, (which was "Reduce size of non-free image [BOT - disable]" tagged version updated by the 'DatBot') at 00:06, on 27 December 2023. I've reverted it. I'm not sure why you struggled, as the revision seems to still be available to non-admins. In case you used the 'undo' in the page history, next time use the "revert" button in the file history table. DatGuy^Talk_Contribs 10:39, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
