Hi @Bohemian Baltimore, unfortunately not in particular. I have a copy of Carlson's Anarchism in Germany, which doesn't emphasize Jewish participation in the movement. There are a few mentions of Germany in the recent compendium With Freedom in Our Ears: Histories of Jewish Anarchism (pp. 11, 22, 31): that fascist Germany banned Esperanto and of socialism in Berlin in the time of Johann Most. There are a few other mentions in that first chapter on Johann Most that might be interesting but not what you're looking for.

I recommend browsing the WorldCat subject headings su:Anarchism Germany and su:Anarchism Germany History for more. Most likely you'll need to search using Germany words in the German language (Jüdischer Anarchismus Deutschland) to find local histories that have not been translated into English. czar 16:02, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rudolph Rocker was not Jewish but was very influential in Jewish anarchism in Germany and their nexus of influences ie Buenos Aires, London and New York. Hi! In articles on authors, "Selected works" section style is pretty lax, in my experience. Generally it's fine to use the title and date (and optionally, the publisher and ISBN identifier, or even an external link if open access). Including the ISBN or OCLC number is, to my eyes anyway, tantamount to a primary source citation because anyone can look up the work using the identifier. Sometimes, if it's a list of essays or non-books, it can be fine to just use citation templates directly in the section. I agree that it's duplicative to cite the book itself unless it's truly referencing the book. My personal preference is to cite book reviews so it verifies the bibliographic material while providing helpful context for the reader. Hi @MatthewDalhousie, hallmarks of reliable sources include having an editorial policy, a reputation for accuracy/fact-checking, and editor pedigree. https://orthochristian.com doesn't appear to have that. Generally sources should have editorial distance from the topics they're covering, so https://ca.thegospelcoalition.org/about/foundation-documents/ and https://catholicvoiceomaha.com/about/ do not appear to be offering neutral commentary. Hi Czar, Thanks for the inputs. I just wanted to create the category as the newly formed LPA for Karaikudi city covers the added stations as in the page. The reason i wanted to create the page because these stations will be the suburban stations for the newly formed karaikudi as like "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_stations_in_Madurai" for Madurai. I will add the needed details like additional references and news about these stations as i collecting and consolidating the same for future updates. The merger you requested is for the old Karaikudi town which is now a city corporation by including the UA area around which has multiple stations apart from a main city junction station which is already included in that page, this is a separate page created for the UA area which may have new stations in the future. So, keeping this page would help us to add the new changes on the UA/City other than the works going on in the old town limits.

If it is going to be Karaikudi#Transport, it would be generic. I want to have the new stations added as a separate page for Karaikudi, like the links given for the cities like Madurai "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_stations_in_Madurai", Tiruchirappalli "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_railway_stations_in_Tiruchirappalli" and Coimbatore "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_stations_in_Coimbatore". Since the developmental works are going on in the suburb stations around Karaikudi City, it would be great to have the link separately as given for the above cities rather than adding the suburb stations to the Transport category, which will be confused if the people look for separate stations.

I am writing to formally request a reconsideration of the decision to delete the Wikipedia page for Parsian IF. While I understand the reasoning behind the comparison with similar clubs that have been deleted, I would like to respectfully highlight several key differences that we believe demonstrate Parsian IF's notability and the reasons why it does meet the General Notability Guidelines (GNG).

Several of the clubs referenced in the discussion, such as Blue Hill, Chile Unido IF, and FC Sparta, have been defunct for some time. Others, like Mjölby Turabdin FC and Kristbergs IF, currently compete two divisions below us. Additionally, clubs such as FK Kozara, BK Saturnus, and FC Giffarna are also defunct. The only club in the list that is somewhat comparable to Parsian IF is FK Bosna 92 Örebro, which plays in Division 4 but in a much smaller city. In contrast, Parsian IF plays in Division 4 Stockholm, the highest regional league in Sweden before entering the national league system. Stockholm is the largest and most competitive region in the country, making our level of play, exposure, and ambition significantly different from the teams mentioned.

Parsian IF is a highly ambitious and actively functioning club, firmly established in the Stockholm area. Unlike the defunct or low-tier "friendship clubs" mentioned, we have built a solid foundation and a clear goal of advancing within the Swedish football pyramid. We are recognized as a serious football organization within Stockholm’s sporting community.

Parsian IF is not just another football club. We are unique in being one of the few clubs outside of Iran with a Swedish-Iranian background, serving as a cultural symbol for over 120,000 Swedish-Iranians in Sweden. We have a dedicated following not just in Sweden, but also internationally, in countries such as Iran, the USA, Germany, and elsewhere where Iranian communities reside. This global connection, combined with our active role within the Swedish-Iranian diaspora, makes us well-known and relevant beyond the typical scope of a regional football club. Our presence in the diaspora and our supporters’ engagement help to emphasize the club's importance in ways that extend far beyond our local matches.

SvenskaFans appears to be user-generated content per [3]. Its byline is "Siavash", who perhaps coincidentally is the team manager mentioned in the STFF article. The STFF is an affiliated source, not a journalist with editorial distance. The Mitti article is okay but very short, interview-heavy, and lacking content to be the basis for a dedicated article. Those two appear to be both interview sources that rely heavily on interview without independent analysis, thus not being independent of the topic. If you were to have three reliable, independent, secondary sources that discuss the topic in depth ready, I could re-open the discussion to consider those sources, but if what you have shared so far is the best available, that discussion would not be productive. I just closed 18 AfDs for DOS code pages similar to the one you closed yesterday. There was nothing wrong with how you closed it, but if you look at the whole group of 19 AfDs together, the transwiki approach got more support, and is far more practical - please see my closing rationale. Since no work on merging Code page 3846 to Code page has been done, we still have the option to ammend/re-close or relist the AfD, if we choose to, so that it is consistent with the others. Hi Czar, I see that you moved Wilding: The Return of Nature to a British Farm to tweak the case of the subtitle, with the article at GAN. This has the effect of triggering a Fail, notified in the history and on the nominator's talk page ... and that in turn tangles up any eventual GAN pass unless vigorously tidied up, which I'll now attempt. Hi @Aristoxène, that sounds good! My main recommendation would be to reduce the block quoting during the translation. While many biographers like to use primary sources to "let the subjects speak for themselves", Wikipedia depends on paraphrasing reliable, secondary sources and only uses primary sources to fill in minor, connective detail where secondary sources did not go. Hello @Czar, I'm writing to you because I noticed that you provide quite a substantial bibliography for the project each month, with precise titles that seem both complex and detailed. So, I’m planning to thoroughly revise the EoA page, where I clearly need to reduce the citations (U. Eisenzweig, for example) and paraphrase them, as well as restructure the section to be more comprehensive, precise, and historically grounded. I also want to expand the parts on its impact on literature—especially concerning all those ‘anarchizing’ intellectuals (rather than outright anarchists), who often abandoned anarchism later and became solely interested in terrorism, etc.

In any case, the reason I’m writing to you about this is that I know absolutely nothing about the question of the ‘anarchist conspiracy,’ which seems to be truly central to the period—both as a historiographical foundation for the idea of the Era of Attacks and as something that both results from and inspires it. I’m completely unfamiliar with these topics in Western Europe. I do remember reading a thesis in English on the Okhrana around 1885–1910, where these issues were touched upon, but never in a specific way. It was much more of a text about intelligence services and, more specifically, their relationship with Russian power (basically, Nicholas II would always appoint an increasingly extremist Minister of the Interior, who would then tell him to calm down, and Nicholas II would fire him to replace him with someone even more extremist—great logic, lol).

In any case, if you have any sources on this question of the ‘anarchist conspiracy,’ I’d love for you to point me in the right direction. I do have Bouhey, but his account inherently leans pro-police simply because his analysis is based first and foremost on police sources. So, he tends to consider anarchists as truly coordinated and unified, as if they formed some kind of large, structured entity—and while he doesn’t explicitly link it to a conspiracy, we’re not far from it. It’s just a modern and neutralized version of the ‘anarchist conspiracy’ idea. That being said, Bouhey is still great, because he does highlight the real connections that did exist, but maybe he overstates them a bit. That’s why I tried to nuance his presentation in ‘Anarchist Companionship'.

I was more referring the 'anarchist plot' conspiracy that some states seemed to either believe at some extent or propagate. I remember that when we were talking about the Ottoman-related stuff, there was kinda this representation made by the Ottoman state of a global anarchist conspiracy in which the ARF would be part of, and I find that idea back in Bouhey and other sources, when they speak about how French police either propagated without believing into or were completely paranoid about this plot, which was a total dream. But to find a source precisely about this subject, like the representation of that idea (since it's not an historical accuracy and such plot never existed ofc) by them. Hello Czar. Since February 2024, I've mostly taken up the reins maintaining the article Rain World, one of your GAs all the way from 2017 (great work by the way). Lately, I've been more focused actually adding content to the article about its DLCs which were never added. It's been a long while since you've last edited the article [4], and even longer since you've added content to it [5], but I thought it'd be really cool the ask the original article creator and GA nominator for advice.

What do you think of the article's current state and how could it be improved? I'm already aware of the reception section currently lacking information on its DLCs and the development section probably lacking stuff that could be added (which I both plan on working on), but if you see anything else I could've missed or needs improvement, whether it be the prose, sourcing, lead, please tell me. Especially the plot. I added the Downpour plot as one of my first ever edits...

Here's a more ambitious question too: As someone who has zero experience in this type of field, what are the chances of this having a chance as an FAC candidate? I don't plan on nominating this anytime soon, especially with the release of the game's 2nd DLC. If I ever want to do so, it'd likely be many months or years down. I've looked before but didn't find many reliable, secondary sources. The only book sources appear to be interviews and his autobiography, which both can be used sparingly as primary sources. William C. Anderson's foreword in the Pluto Press edition of Anarchism and the Black Revolution is reasonably secondary. As is doi:10.14288/acme.v11i3.939, which goes into some depth on Ervin's thought and experience. Both are already used in the article but sparingly. The Atari video game burial was a 1983 mass burial of unsold video game cartridges, consoles, and computers, undertaken by the American video game and home computer company Atari, Inc., at a landfill site in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The burial occurred amid the video game crash of 1983, at the end of a disastrous fiscal year that saw Atari being sold off by its parent company Warner Communications. It included 700,000 cartridges of various games, including unsold copies of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), one of the largest video game failures in history. For several decades after the burial was first reported, there were doubts as to its veracity and scope, and it was frequently dismissed as an urban legend. In 2013 and 2014, an excavation was carried out by Fuel Industries, Microsoft, the New Mexico government and others, which revealed discarded games and hardware. Only a small fraction, about 1,300 cartridges, were recovered, with a portion reserved for curation and the rest auctioned to raise money for a museum to commemorate the burial.
