Invitation to participate in researchHello, I am a researcher at the Wikimedia Foundation. We are conducting a study on how people use FlaggedRevisions and gathering feedback on users’ experiences with the tool. Our goal is to better understand how it is used and identify ways to improve it. Based on your experience, we believe you would be a valuable participant in this study and would like to invite you to take part in an interview to share your thoughts. If you would like to participate, please email me here. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Kind Regards, TRooks-WMF (talk) 21:38, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
Jamaica Carnival ReviewHi! I saw that you reviewed the article I started and added the note re. citation/ multiple issues. Aside from the citations, what other issue is there? Also, if you check my editing history and contributions you'll notice that I'm a contributor who always add credible citations. I started writing the article less than 6 hrs ago, and each time I edit I put "citations to follow". The fact that you haven't allowed me the opportunity to do so within a reasonable time is a bit bothersome, considering that there are so many similar articles which lack adequate and reliable citations. I will add the necessary citations in due course. Xaymacan (talk) 04:54, 6 March 2025 (UTC) Thanks! Thanks for fixing my user page error, CycloneYoris! Nominating page move redirect for deletionIgnoring the fact that you removed the notice from my talk page, why did you nominate Varanasi-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya(Mughalsarai) line for speedy deletion if it is redirected from a page move? RedactedHumanoid (talk) 22:13, 7 March 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Hutchison High SchoolHello CycloneYoris. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Hutchison High School, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Hi thereThank you for kindly helping with some improvements to articles I worked on. If you wouldn't mind and if it doesn't break some rule I don't know of, could you have a look at this article? It was previously declined s a Coatrack. I just wanted to see if an experienced editor would judge it as such again: Draft:List of Somali Inventions and Discoveries Abcsomwiz (talk) 06:22, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
Declined speedy deletion: List of fictional cats in video gamesHi there! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your G4 speedy deletion nomination of List of fictional cats in video games. In this case, the AFD took place in 2016, and the article subjects are different (i.e., fictional cats in games versus video games that heavily feature cats). If you believe the topic is non-notable, feel free to nomination for AFD. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 08:02, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Contesting speedy deletion nomination of Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home High School, RaharaA tag has been placed on Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home High School, Rahara requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I have contested the deletion because this is a well-known school, far more notable than other articles on schools like Taki Ramakrishna Mission High School, Ramakrishna Mission Siksha Mandir, Sarisha. It has won the Best School Award from the Government of West Bengal in 2019, 2021 and 2024 respectively. If this page is nominated for deletion, then the same should be done with the above pages as well. Therefore, I strongly believe that the page should be kept as a stub and modified gradually. Contesting Speedy Deletion of Arti Mehra's Wikipedia PageDear CycloneYoris, I would like to contest the speedy deletion request placed on the Wikipedia page for Arti Mehra under G4. Arti Mehra is an accomplished leader with a significant public presence, and her contributions warrant proper documentation on Wikipedia for public reference. The deletion request seems to be based on prior discussions; however, any concerns raised earlier should be reassessed in light of her continued impact and updated information. Deleting notable figures' pages without thorough review undermines the principle of maintaining a comprehensive and unbiased repository of knowledge. Additionally, I question whether this deletion request is driven by policy violations or personal bias. If there are issues with the content, they should be addressed through constructive editing rather than outright removal. I urge you to reconsider and allow for proper discussion before making any final decision. Best regards, King changer (talk) 06:13, 29 March 2025 (UTC) The Fred Bloggs BandHi CycloneYoris, I see that you have deleted the page I created yesterday about the Fred Bloggs Band from Bristol UK. Am I able to retrieve the page so that I can try improving it? I would like to add links to several internet articles about the band which will hopefully show notability. Ooguri–Vafa metricIs is really necessary to have footnotes for such a small article? Its only content is currently who did what in which year, which can be found fully in the literature section. (Compare for example with Kronheimer–Mrowka basic class.) I still plan to expand the article with definitions and properties, for which I'll definitely add footnotes, but currently I don't know what to put in a footnote besides just "Ooguri & Vafa 1996" after the claim that Ooguri and Vafa did it in 1996 to reference the literature by Ooguri and Vafa from 1996. Of course that seems more than unnecessary to me. So I have to ask, what you meant more precisely? Thanks for your help! Samuel Adrian Antz (talk) 04:31, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Thapaswini PoonachaThis is a very weakly sourced page. I'm not sure it would survive an A7 speedy tag. My G4 speedy decline was purely administrative, based on the appearance and sourcing of both versions. If you have an inclination, AfD is quite appropriate. BusterD (talk) 10:55, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

I agree the page is mostly OR at this moment, but looking at newspapers.com and limiting the search to England, I'm seeing 78 newspaper articles which actually seem to be about the subject, mostly event announcements, granted (first one is 1957). You may choose to AfD this if you wish, but I'll be trying to anchor some of these statements with RS. Thanks for your understanding. BusterD (talk) 19:18, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
