Thanks, Fluffernutter. I think it says something about RFA as a system that the process on Commons is so much less painful than here. Courcelles15:22, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Meh, not a great AFD, and GeoSwan's comment indicates the !votes there are questionable. Given it was a 21 day discussion, I just created a new one for some fresh debate, and closed the DRV. Courcelles15:30, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
Yes, except for FPaS's single revision, all other 49 in the history are copyright violations. (Several of the 29 being after FPaS') This really should have been G12'ed and never sent to AFD, it was that blatant of a copyvio. Courcelles17:26, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi, you had made some edits to the List of K-1 events article not so long ago, but seems like some user has reversed your edits. Furthermore, i recently began revising and editting the entire article listing to exclude the unofficial K-1 events. The article contains several listings of non-K1 events or unofficial K-1 events. and i have, and can, provide citation from K-1's own website for their list of their events. The same user once again, this time has reverse my edits as well. I even brought up the issue on the discussipon page of the article, but seems that was also ignored as well. The user in question also never even bothers to write any "edit summary" any time he edits or reverses someone else's edit. 108.27.129.118 (talk) 04:14, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Just to let you know that while I shall be drastically reducing my participation on Wikipedia, I shall remain involved in overseeing the restriction between Roscelese and Haymaker. If there are any issues arising in regard to that matter that you and TParis are in agreement with, however, you need not wait for my input - you may assume the consensus has me on board. Cheers. I honestly have no clue if winners are notable or not, but it is clearly not a G4 speedy deletion candidate for being reposted. Editors can open a new AFD, or make the old title a redirect, as they see fit. Courcelles21:02, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
As an unregistered user, I cannot create any non-existant article. Will you recreate "Landau Eugene Murphy" as a redirect to "Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr." for me? Should the page with old title be undeleted without going to Wikipedia:Deletion review? --67.169.28.10 (talk) 21:43, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
I tried the IRC and no one's responded in almost an hour, but it looks like you're around. Can you have a look at [2] and RevDel it. It would easily constitute useless vandalism, and probably harassment. Thanks. – RobinHood70talk21:38, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello Courcelles! I hope you are well. :-) I have a small question about images in an article. I took several photos of Tlos yesterday but there are already 4 images in the article. If I think a couple of the shots I took are better quality/lighting or imagery, what is the process I should take to get them included? Or do you think it would be OK to add two more to that article? I could also try to expand it with words. Appreciate the advice as always. Yours, ~dee(talk?)10:11, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
for a subject that important, we could easily have more prose, so if you wanted to write some, that would be the best approach. FOr that length article, though, a gallery would be better than more images down the side, see WP:GALLERY. Courcelles16:41, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Merci beaucoup! I'll be copyediting the existing content, adding as much detail and references as I can and then seeing how much content I'm at. If it's still not enough to add more pictures, I will add a gallery at your suggestion. Thanks again. :-) ~dee(talk?)18:25, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello, Courcelles. Please check your email; you've got mail! It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.
Hi Courcelles! A few images I uploaded have been deleted in February because they were orphaned as the article they did belong to (vSide) was still in a user space. The article is finished now and has been moved to the main namespace. After this has finally been done, I'd like to request the undeletion of the images now. I'm not quite sure if this works or I have to re-upload them (...or if that would be a mistake), so I thought it'd be better to ask you :). Another thing I need help is the lowercase title template. I don't really know why it doesn't work properly. Could you help me with that one? Thank you very much!
Hey, can you check The-papillon (talk·contribs) here and on Commons? I'm hesitant to go DUCK on this one as the topic is quite different (although related to Indian cinema), but the IPs contributing "around" this editor on some articles are the same range. And the article is quite hoaxy like always too. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff18:57, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I"m not really seeing this one... might be better to formally file an SPI and see if anyone picks up on something I'm not getting. Courcelles23:34, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
OK, I sent a person over to ACC who was affected by 94.64.0.0/17 (block user · block log · WHOIS), a checkuserblock placed by Dominic. ACC appears to have a good system for checkuser review, but a queue has formed there. The oldest request that needs a checkuser to close it is from September 15. Hello, User:Courcelles. I'm delighted to add the Executive Director's Barnstar to the many barnstars that have already been bestowed upon you. I give out the Executive Director's Barnstar occasionally to Wikimedians who are making a significant contribution to the projects, and you were nominated to receive it by User:KuduIO, who describes you as prolific, friendly and sympathetic. You've only been a Wikipedian since December 2009, but your track record of accomplishments here is considerable: You got admin privileges after only six months. You've made 200K edits, and if I'm reading your userpage right, you've contributed to 24 Featured Articles. You're an active participant in anti-vandalism actions, dispute resolution, RfA discussions and VRT tasks, and you're an ArbCom Audit Subcommittee member with CheckUser and Oversight rights. And I've seen on your talk page that while you have really impressive throughput, you also take the time to be friendly and kind with the people you're interacting with on-wiki. Congratulations, and thank you!
If you (or anybody reading this) wants to nominate any Wikimedia editor for the Executive Director Barnstar, please feel free to do that on my talk page. Thanks. Sue Gardner (talk) 22:14, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Wow. Major surprise to se this when I scrolled down. Thanks, Sue, this is the most unique barnstar I have ever been given. :) Courcelles23:33, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Just three; here, Meta, and Commons. And to how I ever hit 200k edits, I have no idea at all. It doesn't feel like that many... Courcelles21:32, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
