Hey Colonies Chris thanks for recent comment, just came across this. You may not be that fussed but if it isn't obvious anyway that's a G6 dbmove template making an "uncontroversial move" request and proxying admin Salvio giuliano but failing to mention Talk:Cần Thơ/Archive 1 close 2 weeks earlier.

Given all 3 Rms 2010, 2011, and 2012 at Talk:Cà_Mau your edit to Phủ Lý can, I think, be restored. But as I say you may not be that fussed ;) Cheers. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:25, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

I'm afraid I expect ultimately the only way is to go through the rigmarole of a WP:RM like I've already put in a dozen for the most evident restores, a painful process and fought every inch of the way by the original undiscussed mover. Since there's about 600 G6 "uncontroversial moves" using the dbmove template therefore the moves were actioned by 20 or 30 different admins. I've approached 4 of the admins of the most problematic misuse of dbmoves, i.e. where IP activity was used to hide a contrary RM prior to a G6 template, and Graeme Bartlett and Edgar181 have reverted their dbmoves. Another admin Malik Shabazz already reverted his, I think he had the problem pointed out by someone else earlier. With 1800 undiscussed moves in total (yes I know that number seems unbelievable) it's going to take till 2017 to address all the undiscussed moves of one User, but probably worth picking up a few examples that are clear not remotely "uncontroversial moves" ...such as Phủ Lý shortly after a failed RM on Vietnamese town names. In this case since the "uncontroversial move" was against your own edit - and since you were following Ca Mau RM rather than going against an RM, at least you have a stake in the article. I'm probably going to concentrate on restoring the Vietnamese dynasties where anglicizing half of them has produced a real mess. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:02, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. I expect User:Yig Mgo will see that as he/she checks my Talk page rather than me always being the one who has to put in the RMs to revert undiscussed/locked moves. AWB version 5.3.1.0 is outdated. We strongly recommend that you upgrade to version 5.3.1.2 which can be found at http://toolserver.org/~awb/snapshots/ It fixes more than 100 bugs and it is much faster. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:12, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

There will be a release version too. 5.3.1.2 is a debug version i.e. it keeps in your local drive a profiling.txt which shows the time each function needs to be processed for each article you saved. This will help us in case you need to report a bug. We didn't disactivate 5310 yet because in other projects it works fine. Hi, please do not remove the spaces before pipe in references, such as this edit to the list of shipwrecks in 1952. They are there for a reason - it makes editing easier as it forces a line break in the edit window, thus enabling more text to be shown at one time. The spaces before the pipes are also pre-made in {{Cite newspaper The Times}}. If you think that there should be a change, then this would probably be best discussed via a RFC on the talk page of that template. Most of the rest of that edit was fine, but I would question whether or not Piraeus is so common that it shouldn't be linked. I agree that major countries that are in existence today shouldn't be linked, but any that are no longer in existence should be linked. For example, I wouldn't link the United Kingdom, but I would link the United Kingdom. Mjroots (talk) 04:41, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
