Hi, I just tried setting up the archiver on Talk:Russell Wilson and am having a little trouble. It appears to create the archive on the talk page itself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! aqwfyj ^Talk/_Contribs 16:24, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Looks like you were subst'ing Russell Wilson and not FULLPAGENAME. {{subst:FULLPAGENAME}} is a macro that replaces it with the name of the page. {{subst:Talk:Russell Wilson}} is a macro that replaces it with the full contents of the Russell Wilson talk page. I've updated the page with a correct version of the template. It should archive in the next several hours when the bot does its next run. -- Cobi^(t|c|b) 20:39, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

One thing ClueBot might look for is changes to human (or other) vital statistics that are outside normal/reasonable ranges. For example, editing the height parm in one of the human Infoboxes (e.g., {{Infobox football biography}}) to values outside about 4.5–7.5 feet (1.4–2.3 m) (or something like that) is almost certainly an error. So I'm at my school right now and I am checking the edits for the IP and there are quite a bit of vandalism here because the school I go to isn't the best school it's actually pretty bad so is there any way you could block editing from this IP without effecting me? Please read the notice at the top of the page. ClueBot NG is not human, and it is not a robot with administrator privileges so it cannot block anyone. What is your IP address? I think there is an issue with ClueBot3, based on this edit (which I undid):[1]

There had been some contention on Robby Mook, which I tried to solve and then to explain on the talk page. It is fine to archive talk page threads if a week has passed with no additions, but 2 days is too soon to remove the content. HouseOfChange (talk) 15:59, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

@HouseOfChange: (talk page stalker) The bot is obeying the instructions left for it at the top of the page. However, age=30 does specify very fast archiving - as User:ClueBot III/ArchiveThis explains, the parameter is a number of hours. If 30-day archiving was intended, it should be set to 720. -- John of Reading (talk) 16:18, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Thanks to @John of Reading: for this helpful information, which I did not know or understand before. I re-set the talk page archive time to 175 hours, which is close to 7 days. (Multiplying 7 x 25 is easier mental math than multiplying 7 x 24.) It is a fairly sleepy talk page, based on the history. HouseOfChange (talk) 16:37, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
