Date format

Hi there. The issue between BC/BCE is a thorny one which has produced a guideline in the Manual of Style, WP:ERA: changing from one to the other shouldn't be done unless there is a substantial reason and strong community consensus. RJC ^Talk_Contribs 16:38, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above, I will add that going on a crusade to change BC/BCE dates tends to be disruptive and could get you blocked, better to add content to articles and take up the issue on the talk pages. Hardyplants (talk) 20:54, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
