User talk:BrotherFlounder/Archive2RattrayNot sure why you marked this for deletion - do you know his work? I rate him as VERY important! Patrick7286Why do you go around marking everything for deletion but dont explain a thing under the discussion page? Of course theres going to be little info on the page 2 SECONDS AFTER ITS CREATED! you have to wait a few seconds before you call things spam. Pages take a bit of time to become very relevant and they cant make it to relevancy if theyre marked for deletion the instant theyre created. —Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Patrick7286 (talk • contribs) UserboxesI have edited per Userbox migration. For that Smash Bros. character userbox, the argument had to be changed so that it would say "This user thinks the best Smash Bros. character is Samus Aran", instead of "This user thinks the best Smash Bros. character is {{{2}}}." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tedius Zanarukando (talk • contribs) Award![]() Thanks! Thanks for the award! But the work was actually good, and informative. I thought Wikibooks might be a good home for the information since the standards and objectives there are different, and more consultation like. With more development, it could become something along the lines of this featured wikibook: How To Assemble A Desktop PC. I'm always open to differing opinions, but I still feel like it was a reasonable proposal.--Esprit15d (talk ¤ contribs) 20:18, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
test2Thank you for blanketly reverting the page Fallacy of many questions on Wikipedia. Your attempt to ensure the article retains off-colour humor and borderline homophobia (as well as an unsourced statement) was successful, and I'm now powerless to do anything about it or I'll get tarred as a vandal and sockpuppet etc. etc. etc. Please continue using minor edits by anonymous editors for any further boosts to your edit-count you may want to do. Take a look at any given "real" encyclopedia to see a discernible lack of gay jokes, yet ignore this fact when continuing to edit Wikipedia. --209.222.52.99 21:07, 20 March 2007 (UTC) Re: Preservation Hall Jazz BandWould appreciate your help in restoring my edit to include the five musicians I helped to initiate during my term as ritual committee chaiman of AO chapter, 1968-1969. We appreciate your contributions to the Kappa Kappa Psi article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. The image (Image:Vulcannervepinch.jpg) was found at the following location: User:BrotherFlounder/Sandbox3. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. However, after poking around for a bit I've come to find that it is actually possible he is an honorary of the Gamma chapter at Washington State. I'm currently looking into this with a brother from the chapter and I wanted you to know. I'll keep you posted on the status of my inquiries and, if he is in fact an honorary brother and I find it is verifiable I will post a message for you before I change the KKPsi page. First StrikeHey, A good example for the production would be this (though you don't need to write as much, of course). Basically the problem is presenting content in disorganised list form. Those continuity sections requite citations (or at least the ones I've seen). "Despite airing on the same night as the SG-1 finale "Unending", "First Strike" must take place some time later", why "must" it? That needs a source. Matthew 08:39, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

CSD tagging articlesHi. Please do not tag articles as "nonsense" (as you did to Abby williams) unless it is: "an unsalvageably incoherent page with no meaningful content". Also note that nonsense does not include: poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, vandalism, fictional material, material not in English, badly translated material, implausible theories, or hoaxes of any sort; some of these, however, may be deleted as vandalism in blatant cases. This information is from WP:CSD#G1. Thanks, Rjd0060 (talk) 20:04, 17 November 2007 (UTC) ThanksThanks for reverting the vandalism on my userpage! Jack?! 00:57, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
