Would you please look at the problems that I can see with the Green Day article here. If these problems are not addressed by the end of the review it WILL fail. cheers --Guerillero | My Talk17:05, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Bruno Mars
Hi there! I've noticed you've decided to work on the undertaking of a GA for the Bruno Mars article! Props to you! I've worked on the article a bit over the past couple of months, as well. If there are any things you think you might want someone else to look for: anything that might need some researching or whatnot, feel free to let me know! It would be great if this article was promoted! :) Yves (talk) 23:33, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Thanks so much! You have done an amazing job on the article so far, but there are a few things that the GA reviewer wants to be fixed. I'm having a bit of trouble finding stuff about his personal life other than his cocaine arrest, and the things I find aren't really reliable sources. The last paragraph of the Early life section is a bit confusing and I'm trying to reword some sentences. Anything you could do to help would be marvelous, because you have some rad editing skills. Thanks again, I really appreciate the help :D Basilisk4u (talk) 18:25, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm well what things would you (or the GA reviewer) be looking for in a section like that? I know things like relationships or children, but he has neither of these things. Maybe things like philanthropy or religion, but I haven't really found anything on that. Maybe I'll look some more. I could also add more to the musical style section if you want; I wrote and maintained the Doo-Wops & Hooligans article, so I'm pretty familiar with that. :) Yves (talk) 18:55, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that's what I was thinking. On the GA review page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Bruno_Mars/GA1) the reviewer said things about personal beliefs, but I don't think we will be able to find things about that, so I think we can just leave it be. She also wants the discography to be a separate page, but I was having difficulty making another page because it would just link back to the Bruno Mars main page, which was frustrating. Could you help with that? That would be so great. And the Doo-Wops & Hooligans article is awesome and talks a lot about his musical style, so that would be great as well :) Awesome! I really think this article has a chance to become a GA! Basilisk4u (talk) 19:14, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I saw your comment on the Hip hop WikiProject talk page about working on Gym Class Heroes' article. I might do some work on it if you know some good articles on the net to use for references. I don't know a lot about them but I'm always willing to work on anything hip hop related. Let me know. WikiGuy86 (talk) 04:17, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Thank you so much! I am currently trying to make sections for their history, like for each album and stuff like that.
A closer inspection shows that the article is full of dead links, disambigs, OR, unformatted references. Basically it is not ready for GA. I have given you atleast one day for correcting the references, else its a quick-fail. — Legolas(talk2me)16:04, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I have fixed the dead links, now I'm working on the disambiguations. Sorry about that. Please do not give up on the article yet, I think it is pretty good although I do agree that it needs some work. Basilisk4u (talk) 00:58, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I had to fail the article for now. A closer inspection revealed that the issues present are much bigger than I thought. You don't have to worry about the prose, because its pretty good. Its the MoS of the article which is concerning me. I will help you pull this one for GA, but it is beyond the scope of me as a reviewer for this GAR. You can of course nominate it again, after all these issues are resolved. — Legolas(talk2me)05:10, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Its coming along okay, I have been a little busy recently though. I was wondering if you could tell me what some of the unreliable sources are? Now I can look for better sources.Basilisk4u (talk) 08:12, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I read on Caribbean H.Q's homepage that you would like to work on Calle 13 to get GA. I can help on some stuff on like charts and awards. In fact, if you're interested, I would like to invite you the Latin american music task force. Since Calle 13 is a reggaeton artist, we got that covered. If you'd like to join, please sign up here. I look forward to your reply. Magiciandude (talk) 05:45, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Magiciandude! Thanks so much for your invitation, I have joined the group. I am trying to compile a list of reliable sources for the article that can be used, because I think the biggest problem is that it does not cite enough sources. Anything you can do (especially with the charts and awards, those are not really my forte) would be amazing. I really appreciate your help! Basilisk4u (talk) 07:33, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, your rewriting of the Infinity on High page has done band proud! Excellent work, you're Awesome!!! I'd tried fixing things around without as much success a few weeks ago, and I'm still constantly working on all the Fall Out Boy and related pages. I have recommendations for the article that would improve it to Good Article status, some important and some for novelty. These are my lengthy suggestions.
Track listing. We need to add in the Australian/New Zealand "Platinum" Edition with bonus songs and a bonus DVD. The correct listing is in the page's history. Also add the bonus track "G.I.N.A.S.F.S" for some countries, I'm definate the UK, Australia and New Zealand get this bonus. Japan gets "G.I.N.A.S.F.S" as well as "It's Hard to Say "I Do", When I Don't".
The track listing titles are slightly different on the Australian/New Zealand "Platinum" Edition, such as ""The Take Over, The Breaks Over"" written without quotation marks and "I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off(Me & You) written as "I'm Like a Lawyer with All the Ways I'm Trying to Get You Off (Me + You)". Arms Race doesn't have a apostrophe for "aint", same for the live track listing, but its "ain't" for the DVD listing and ""The Take Over, The Breaks Over"", but the quotation marks are missing in the AOL session track listing (of the DVD). "Sugar We're Goin Down" is written as "Sugar We're Going Down" with an extra "g" as the track listing for the AOL session. This sounds a bit confusing but it's easier if you have the CD to read off. Source: I have the "Platinum" edition CD.
I think Metacritic's score of 73/100 needs be added to the "Critical Reception" section. Also, I think it may be good if the section itself is expanded. I would challenge the inclusion of "Sputnikmusic" as I do not think it is a proper source, unlike RollingStone, for instance.
A "Versions" section should be added to discuss the different versions released. There's the normal one; I'm not sure if there was a DigiPak without any extra tracks; the Walmart (and maybe other stores) edition with an altered cover art and and bonus song; international versions eg Australia, New Zealand and the UK having a bonus song, and a DigiPak version with bonus songs (only in USA I think), and an Australian/New Zealand "Platinum" Edition with many bonus songs and a DVD.
The "Charts, certifications and procession" section of the page need to be revised for countries worldwide, I would guess that the album has more certifications then what is currently listed on the page. The "Charts" part needs to be expanded, the album charted worldwide but the page only lists 4 countries. Year-end charts would also be very nice.
Sales totals of the album for the United-States and worldwide figures (latest sources would be nice) would definately be informative for the article; maybe for the singles too if that information can be found (I'm not talking the certification here, I mean the actual sales totals).
A "Chart Performance" section should be created that deals with (obviously) the album's charting. I have sources for sales figures for 5 weeks out of the first 6 weeks that the album was in the top 10, that's all I can find (Billboard.biz articles).
A "Singles" section should be created for the album's four singles. For reference, "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" is not an actual single, but was rather a song released online by the band for fans to download. Should a song sample of a single be added?
Album rankings by magazines such as "Blender" would be nice. The ranking from RollingStone is already there.
The "Release history" section needs to be expanded - currently it only has release dates for Japan, the UK and the US.
Mention of the "Leaked in London" EP as the band's strategy to encourage fans to buy the album after its leak. It was obtainable by inserting a physical copy of Infinity on High into the computer and something with the website.
Alternate album art description in main infobox and check if there's anything missing in the infobox.
"Promotion". This section critically requires expanding. Information about the lead up to the album, TV performances as well as headlining tours should go here.
A more comprehensive "Personnel" section with information from the album's booklet. Also, stuff about Wesley Eisold?
Does the lead introduction need to be revised?
Song trivia that was removed was interesting/informative/useful, maybe recover them and weave them into the page somehow? The "Now press repeat" and clapping at the end of the last track on the CD. Also, mention some lyrics being "stolen" from Wesley Eisold?
Does anyone know the themes and inspirations of the album? I'm not sure of them myself, but if someone managed to find enough information about it, maybe a "Themes and inspirations" section could be created?
A picture of the band live in concert.
Lots of print sources available in Fall Out Boy's discussion page that can be used to add information or can be used to cite sources.
Proper source citation in accordance to Wikipedia's standards.
With all of this, I'm sure the article will immediately quality for Good Article status. I'll be trying to help out with some of this too, but I've beeen busy with work. Once again, excellent rewriting of the article so far. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noreplyhaha (talk • contribs) 06:29, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Wow, thank you so much for noticing! I really like this album and I think it deserves a good article. Thank you for your suggestions, there are a lot of sources out there on the album that we can use. So far, I have just been trying to restructure the article and make new sections, so some of them need a lot of expansion, like the promotion section as you noted. Unfortunately there are some dead links in the article, and Rolling Stone has removed a lot of their articles from their online database that had really good information. Some of the trivia may be difficult to find sources for, but I will try my best as I agree that they would be great additions to the article. Again, thanks for your help :) I absolutely believe we can make this an amazing article! Basilisk4u (talk) 04:00, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've noticed that you've added some Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz pictures to Wikipedia for the Fall Out Boy pages, and I was suggesting if you could find a better picture for the Fall Out Boy page and a recent picture for Patrick Stump's page that reflects his weight loss that'd be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noreplyhaha (talk • contribs) 10:45, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all your hard work on the Infinity on High article, it's very much appreciated! It came a long way from what it originally was to Good Article, I'd never be able to do that so your efforts were amazing. Everytime I check my watchlist and see that you've edited the page I always see so many new and valuable additions. I don't think it'll ever get rewritten again so it's going to stay at that high standard forever!
Are you going to further work on it? Do you have any plans to work on more Fall Out Boy pages? I've seen some beginnings on Folie a Deux; a few months ago someone came and made it heaps good in a day, it's got a lot of potential. Or maybe we could bring back GA to the main Fall Out Boy article or do Patrick Stump's upcoming and amazing Soul Punk album. Noreplyhaha (talk) 11:02, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow!! Thanks so much! My first barnstar :') I would love to work on other FOB pages, I have done minor things to Folie and plan to do much more. Also, Cork Tree is on my list, but the possibilities are endless! I would love to work on all those things you mentioned. Thanks again! Basilisk4u (talk) 14:06, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate.
I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! SarahStierch (talk) 14:01, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Infinity on High
Hi. I saw your request on the GOCE Requests page for a copy edit of Infinity on High, but noticed that it has now reached GA (congratulations on that). I'd be willing but, just dipping into the article a bit, the standard of writing looks so good that I wonder whether it really needs a copy edit now. Are you still wanting one? Best regards, --Stfg (talk) 15:53, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Sorry about that, and thank you for telling me. This is my first ever GA review that I have done, so I don't know much about listing them by myself. Could you help me fix it? Thanks. Basilisk4u (talk) 19:49, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. Hello ! How are you? It's me, the error fixer from "Stronger" :). My friend who nominated asked me to help with it. Anyway, you did a great job. I was wondering If you could also review "Disturbia" for me. I nominated the article like 3 months ago and still no one review it. Can you? Thanks :) ! — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?21:54, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! You did a great job too, I was very impressed with how quickly you responded with your edits. I have noticed that it has not gotten a review for a long time. I will go ahead and review it, but please forgive me if I take a long time, I'm relatively new at this reviewing business haha :) Cheers! Basilisk4u (talk) 01:09, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Take your time. Anyway, I wouldn't be free until Wednesday. I have to study for my exam :/. The article is long and comprehensive, please indicate most issues that you can :). Thanks — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?09:39, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since Calvin doesn't comment anymore, I suggest If you don't have any other issues noted to pass the article. I c/e the prose a bit, however you can check again. I hurry up you because the review can be closed, because of no activity. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?21:55, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome! Articles like this seem to just outright flatten a lot of people with all the data and (especially) technical language, so in my experience many tend to shy away from them, It is hard to get reviewers. Thus I am even more grateful! HMallison (talk) 01:27, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have closed the review as passed. Great work. It was an enjoyable read and with some thorough copy editing, has a strong chance of being an FA. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]19:30, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the wording to 'one's self'. Is it good now? :)
Also, about the 1a thing, I don't believe it applies to music video stills - for example, 4 Minutes contains a still from the music video, and both Madonna and Justin Timberlake are still alive. ToaNidhiki0519:37, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Invisible Children
Hi there,
It seems we both set out on a mission to clean up that page. Some of your edits were very similar to ones I was planning on making (had real life not interfered). It is looking really good right now. There are still a couple of topics I am looking for, like their work in schools. I have not seen an independent source for that and it interests me as they will be at the school I teach at on Monday (which is why I am interested). I would also like to find more independent stuff on the history. I have most of the original (before we got started) article in a sandbox if you think that there is something there that can be salvaged, but it looked like most of it was directly from the organization. I will work on the logo image a bit, if I can. Take Care--Ishtar456 (talk) 23:06, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey thanks for your great improvements to the page. It is looking a lot better now, and I am glad that the referencing is not just bare urls anymore! It looks great. I am interested in those things too. I will look around, and thankfully there are a lot more sources on it now that Kony 2012 has gained so much public interest. Thanks! Basilisk4u (talk) 16:05, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I actually found a really good source (Success Magazine) for the school presentations. The only problem with that article is that it does not say when it was written, so I did not know how dated the statistics were. But it is really the only place that gave an account of what they are doing in schools, which is basically inciting the students to support them emotionally and financially. But that aspect is not covered.--Ishtar456 (talk) 16:20, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I believe I have addressed the problems brought up on the GAN review. Have a look to see if I'm still missing anything. Thank you for the review. Erick (talk) 20:22, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes please! I have been trying to figure out how to do it for the longest time! I would love to have samples for "Tango del Pecado" and "Un Beso de Desayuno". THANK YOU SO MUCH :) Basilisk4u (talk) 18:59, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about the wait, the music samples are on the article. I'll leave the song description up to you. If there's anything else you need, let me know. Erick (talk) 20:13, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, I like helping out. Anyways, there aren't many charts for Latin American countries. There is CAPIF for Argentine albums chart and AMPROFON for Mexican albums chart. The Argentine chart was taken down so I look through Billboard Hits of the World on Google Books and didn't the find the album there. It doesn't appear to have charted on the Top 100 Mexico either as I looked through the Top 100 best-selling albums of 2007 on AMPROFON. What can I do is search through news archives and see if maybe charted on some countries or received certifications. EDIT: I had a quick look through news archives and didn't find any certifications for this album. Apparently it didn't do well enoug commercially. Erick (talk) 05:47, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I'm so sorry for not responding earlier. Thanks so much for all your research! I would definitely love to have some music samples! I am not sure which ones I would want though, he has so many memorable songs. Maybe "Corazon Partio" and something more recent, whichever one you would like. I plan on helping a lot more with Latin American Music articles, and I definitely owe you, so if you ever need any help from me, please do not hesitate to ask! I am also wondering, since Alejandro Sanz is from Spain, could he be counted in the Latin American music portal/wikiproject? He has won several Latin Grammys and he is very popular in many parts of the region. Basilisk4u (talk) 04:41, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I thought about Corazon Partio as well since it's my favorite one from him. As for Sanz himself, I try not to include musicians from Spain since it's not part of Latin America. But I think the best criteria to include artist in the task force is that the artist must be signed on to an record label for Latin music and Sanz is signed on to Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Sounds good? There is one thing you could do for me. Could you check Romances against the Featured Article Criteria? I've been working on that article for a year in hopes of becoming the first Spanish-language album to be FA. In regards, Erick (talk) 21:58, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will definitely do that! I will put an assessment summary on the talk page as soon as I can. It is the least I could do after all your help. I am also working on Mana's page, but I am really confused about the order in which they released their albums, because different sources say different things. Would you be interested in collaborating on that page? Basilisk4u (talk) 17:09, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, well I'm not too familiar with Maná and I'm kind of full with working on two articles, but I can help out with sales and certifications for Latin American countries that don't have a searchable database and the technical stuff. I've requested a user who is familiar with Maná to help out if he wants to. On a somewhat related, I would like your comment at WT:ALBUMS for my proposal in regards to albums receiving both standard and Latin certifications. I'll also be looking forward to your FA assessment on the article. Cheers, Erick (talk) 20:16, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
GA Thanks
On behalf of WP:CHICAGO, I would like to thank you for your contributions to Lupe Fiasco, which has fairly recently achieved WP:GA status.
It appears that the nominee has responded to all the issues you raised on this GA review before putting it on hold, so if you could get back to it and either finish it off or request more changes, that would be great. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 02:44, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I have addressed the FAR for Romances. Have a look and see. I'll probably nominate it FAC later this month, so wish me luck!
Hi! user magiciandude (talk·contribs) told me you were also interested in reviweing latin music articles. I'm a GA reviewer but i cannot review my own articles, and finding a reviewer who speaks spanish is harder than tgettian and FA. So, i have several articles i would like to get reviewed. if u can help me, i'll thank you a lot. --Hahc21 (talk) 05:02, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Haha yeah I have been a bit busy with exams, but I will do my best! The Ricardo Arjona page is quite long, so please forgive me if it takes a while. I have also been looking for a reviewer for Alejandro Sanz, would you mind taking a look at that? Thanks! Basilisk4u (talk) 13:56, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you'd never ask. Let me get out of exams and i'll pick it up for review. I understand that Ricardo Arjona will take a while to review, and i can wait. I'm pacient. I'll always be thankful to you for reviewing it, since it's difficult to find a reviewer skilled in spanish language. --Hahc21 (talk) 03:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! You totally deserved it! I saw you make an edit on Corazón Sin Cara and was wondering if you'd interested in working on that together. If there's anything you're working on as well, let me know too. :) Erick (talk) 19:32, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would love to work on Corazón Sin Cara. I will keep my eyes peeled for good sources, as they seem a bit hard to find. I am currently working on Ricky Martin's biography page, could you maybe add a music sample of Menudo's "Rayo De Luna" in the "Menudo" section? That would be awesome. Basilisk4u (talk) 20:47, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, I have the sandbox for it right here. I'll upload the song per your request and Livin' la Vida Loca, since it's like his most well-known song. Just out of curiosity, what is your taste in music as far as Latin music goes? Erick (talk) 22:35, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot! I like everything! I'm a gringa so I only know the stuff my friends show me, but I really want to hear more Latin music. I love it. I've been listening to salsa and merengue recently. Any recommendations? What are your favorites? Basilisk4u (talk) 18:15, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You could say that I've inherited my tastes from my mother. As far as tropical music goes, I'm a salsaholic and I enjoy merengue and bachata as well. For salsa, my favorites include Marc Anthony, Victor Manuelle. For merengue, my favorites are Grupo Mania, Juan Luis Guerra, Los Hermanos Rosario, and Olga Tañon. Bachata includes Aventura, Prince Royce, and Monchy & Alexandra. Outside of tropical, I listen to latin pop, mostly ballads and boleros such as Chayanne. I enjoy Mexican music, I love rancheras and listen to some norteño. I listen to few of Colombian pop vallaneto artists like Carlos Vives and Fonseca. I also enjoy older music up to the '70s for pop and salsa. Also, have you ever heard of Rhythms del Mundo? It takes popular songs like Coldplay's Clocks and gives it a Cuban son music. The Cuban rendition of it is very good. 22:06, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Erick (talk)
Wow, thanks so much for the recommendations! I really like them. I have been listening to Marc Anthony for a while now, he is awesome. I also really like stuff like Camila. I will be sure to check them all out, and let me know if you have any more recommendations! :) Basilisk4u (talk) 20:01, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wow! How on earth did you do that so fast? Amazing work! I will add try to add some more stuff to the article, but I honestly don't think there is much that can be improved since you did such a great job. I will try to keep working on their other albums too. Basilisk4u (talk) 20:44, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I used Google Books search mostly. About the photo you added, isnt that given too much weight to Andre's weed habit at the time? I was considering adding OutKast photos, but there so few from Commons, and none showing them during the '90s. I was thinking a photo like that of Andre in 07 would be more appropriate for the Speakerboxxx or Idlewild article when they get expanded. How about something like this in its place, to illustrate an aspect of Organized Noize's production? Dan56 (talk) 21:24, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I was actually thinking that about the weed thing. I figured the section looked empty without a picture, and it was the first thing I thought of haha. I think that would be much better to use, go for it! Basilisk4u (talk) 21:37, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wow thanks so much! I have been trying to figure out how to upload samples! For some reason, I tried to upload a sample of "B.O.B" and it said it was loading, but I could never find it. How long does it usually take to upload? Basilisk4u (talk) 21:38, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Since he contributed to all of their albums, I cropped this image of Sleepy Brown to make it useful. I think he's always been bald, so it's sort of "timeless" of an image to use. Dan56 (talk) 05:39, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That would be really good to use. Thanks for all your help. I am almost done with Stankonia, but I'm trying to put together a "legacy" section and finish up the critical response. I'm having a little bit of difficulty finding more things to put in it, would you be interested in adding some more? Anything you can do would be great. Also, let me know if there is anything you are working on that I can contribute to. Thanks! Basilisk4u (talk) 05:56, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the legacy/impact info I usually use for older albums comes from retrospective reviews, like Allmusic's: "Stankonia consolidated OutKast's status as critics' darlings, and began attracting broad new audiences: its across-the-board appeal and ambition overshadowed nearly every other pop album released in 2000." Also Google Book searches for like five years after its initial reception, when impact usually gets noticed. Found this for example, Simon Reynolds noting the album/OutKast for being the first rap group to touch on rave and Ecstasy culture's influence. Also, here's a Christgau review of their live show at the time, with musical critique/anaylsis. Dan56 (talk) 18:17, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Acclaimed Music's listing for accolades can be adapted to an entire list, like here, although with more rigid GA standards, individual citations for each accolade would have to be used rather than solely Acclaimed Music's site. Dan56 (talk) 18:32, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, and congrats on getting all of those articles to GA! I would definitely like to help with "Lose Yourself". Where is your sandbox for the article? I'd be glad to check it out. Basilisk4u (talk) 16:36, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot! I was very lucky to have you to give me great advice with the article, and thanks for all you do with Wikiproject Eminem! Basilisk4u (talk) 16:40, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No, thank you! By the looks of it, I will not be as committed to the project as I was before, so it's great to see people's contributions in my stead. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:58, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! What happened with this review? I need you to close it before July 31 or it will be discounted from the drive :S. Ans, btw, how are you? What's up? XD —Hahc2114:47, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Thanks for reminding me. It seems like there has not been much work done on the article for several weeks, so I think I need to fail it :( I'm doing pretty well! I'm working on Ricky Martin, but there is a lot of work to do with the references and restructuring the article. I think it would be good for the Latin American music wikiproject if it became a GA :D How are you doing? Basilisk4u (talk) 00:29, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
ALT text
Hi. I just nominated Sons of Soul for FA and noticed from the toolbox that alt text is necessary for all images ([2]) Do you know anything about it and would you like to take a stab at it? I seem to get a mental block when trying to describe these images. Dan56 (talk) 15:21, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That would be a great idea. Could you post your idea at the WikiProject talk page for the others to see? And also, I put together a resources page which contains all the available Latin music charts and awards. Erick (talk) 06:40, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Since you are also a member of WikiProject Reggae, would you be interested in commenting at my FAC page for Rhythm Killers? I've been advised before that soliciting comments speeds things up a bit with the backlogged nominations there. Dan56 (talk) 15:26, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Acclaimed Music
Hi there! As you edit music/hip hop articles a lot, I thought this website might come in handy: Acclaimed Music - Basically, they collect "best of: year/decade/all time" lists for artists. It's really good for researching "top" lists when you write about certain albums/songs/artists. Just find, for example, Eminem, and you have "top" lists from The Marshall Mathers LP to "Lose Yourself". :) --Khanassassin☪17:46, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Basilisk4u, you're very welcome. It is quite alright. I know how busy it can be at times so I left the review open. And there's no problem. I see you have found someone to upload reduced samples. I wish you the best of luck with this project, and others in the future. DivaKnockouts (talk) 01:05, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Amy! I managed to reduce the quality and length of the samples to comply with WP:SAMPLE. You might have noticed that I included single charts are not shown on the main Billboard website (like the Latin Rhythm Airplay charts). To access these charts, go Billboard.biz, hover the mouse to "Charts" and click on "Archive" and then select "Singles Chart Archive". This database gives you more charts to view than the Billboard website. I just found this at the Album Search Archive, Entren Los Que Quieran topped the Latin Rhythm Albums chart (Here). Erick (talk) 01:38, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Amy! I don't know if you saw at my talk page, I could not find a free equivalent image for Reik either WikiCommons or Flickr. Sorry. :( There is something I like to ask your help with. You may heard already, but a famous Mexican singer named Jenni Rivera died tragically yesterday at a plane crash so I decided to get some users and work on her article as a tribute. You're good with biography articles, so would like to help out? That is, if you're not busy with anything. Erick (talk) 18:19, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Sorry, I've been really busy with final exams this week. I have one more final on and then I will get to Jenni Rivera's page. I am very saddened by the news :( Basilisk4u (talk) 19:56, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Hahc21 and I started working her last album Joyas Prestadas on my sandbox and we agreed to work on the biographical article as well afterwards. I appreciate the help. :) Erick (talk) 21:07, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. And about Reik, I may contact someone with a non-free image of them on Flickr and ask them to change the license. Thanks for looking. Also, do you know any reliable sources about Reik? The only one I can find is Allmusic, which does not have very much information. I am also finding conflicting sources about when Jenni Rivera released her debut album. Some sources say it was 1995, while others say 1999. Her discography on the page is missing all her pre-2000 albums. Basilisk4u (talk) 09:29, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
B.O.B
Hi! In my sandbox (2), I'm currently working on OutKast's B.O.B. I pretty much found all the info that I could, except: a) the release date - the song's article and Stankonia's article list two different dates, but none of them have a source, and I can't find one, so I'm not sure; b) the tracklistings - I've tried to find the info on Amazon (where most people do), but no luck. So, since I see you're also interested in OutKast, I thought you might lend a hand? :) Thanks. Cheers, --Khanassassin☪13:23, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, I actually found the info, but thanks anyway. :) I have no idea how to make a synopsis of the music video, but I think it doesn't need one, as there's no actual meaning behind it. What I really need now is a review! :) Best, --Khanassassin☪18:47, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I took almost all of your advice for the article and hope it looks good from here on out. Adding the review box would be excellent, but there aren't enough reviews. Hey, I came across your work with Stankonia recently. If you ever need help with an article, feel free to give me a holler; I've contributed to several FAs and GAs (most music-related) and there's some recurring issues with music articles lately that I'd like to help others mitigate as much as possible, especially if you ever plan to take anything to FAC. Hi, I've been reading your user page. Since you're a member of the wikiproject latin music, and you been reviewing articles, I was wondering if you have the time to review the article Rodrigo (musician). I've noticed that you also have a good knowledge of spanish, which would be really useful, since almost all the cited sources are in spanish.--Rod840 (talk) 18:19, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Since I'm still having a hard time finding a reviewer for this article, I'd like to ask you again if you got the time to review it. Thanks in advance--Rod840 (talk) 14:24, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
RE:A barnstar for you!
Thanks a lot for the barnstar! No problem, you just gotta love OutKast, and ATLiens ruled -- especially that "Jazzy Belle" track, where the lady singing goes all "'la la la la la la la la laaaaaaa"! Hehe. :) It seems like the reviewer forgot about the Billboard links, and just gave the article a pass, hehe! But I still fixed the links afterwards -- the website went through a big re-design process, and so the link format changed too. Anyway, it's been taken care of. :) And thank you for being such a devoted OutKast fan! :) - Would you mind working with me on some Eminem stuff, perhaps? - I know I already asked you to help me out on "Lose Yourself" but didn't do anything, but now I wanna get into Eminem articles fo'real! :) Best, --Khanassassin☪19:59, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for everything! OutKast and Eminem are the best. I would love to work on "Lose Yourself", but I am having difficulty knowing where to start because it seems that there is already so much content in the article to sort through. I will definitely try to start on that at some point. My goal is to get The Marshall Mathers LP to GA status and I have done a little work on it so far. I have taken something of a Wikibreak but I am slowly getting back into it! Basilisk4u (talk) 21:34, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I actually don't feel like working on "Lose Yourself", but rather on something else, like on albums (The MMLP, The ES...). :) I wouldn't mind working on some OutKast with ya either. :) Best, --Khanassassin☪14:41, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
List of awards and nominations received by Santana
Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).
So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
Recruiters: The main task of a recruiter is to teach users that have never reviewed a Good article nomination how to review one. To become a recruiter, all you have to do is meet this criteria. If we don't get at least 5-10 recruiters to start off with (at the time this message was sent out, 2 recruiters have volunteered), the Recruitment Centre will not open. If interested, make sure you meet the criteria, read the process and add your name to the list of recruiters. (One of the great things about being a recruiter is that there is no set requirement of what must be taught and when. Instead, all the content found in the process section is a guideline of the main points that should be addressed during a recruitment session...you can also take an entire different approach if you wish!) If you think you will not have the time to recruit any users at this time but are still interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still add your name to the list of recruiters but just fill in the "Status" parameter with "Not Available".
Co-Director: The current Director for the centre is me (Dom497). Another user that would be willing to help with some of the tasks would be helpful. Tasks include making sure recruiters are doing what they should be (teaching!), making sure all recruitments are archived correctly, updating pages as needed, answering any questions, and distributing the feedback form. If interested, please contact me (Dom497).
Nominators, please read this: If you are not interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still help. In some cases a nominator may have an issue with an "inexperienced" editor (the recruitee) reviewing one of their nominations. To minimize the chances of this happening, if you are fine with a recruitee reviewing one of your nominations under the supervision of the recruiter, please add your name to the list at the bottom of this page. By adding your name to this list, chances are that your nomination will be reviewed more quickly as the recruitee will be asked to choose a nomination from the list of nominators that are OK with them reviewing the article.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along.
A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.--Dom497 (talk)
Dude, you appeared at the right time. I was about to ask you if you could help me with writing credits on the "Track listing" section. I also collected some sources in my sandbox. I know it's not much, but you might find it helpful. By the way, congratulations on getting some Outkast albums to GA status. Cheers.--Вик Ретлхед (talk) 19:40, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. While reading your profile, I saw that you're intending to bring Aquemini to GA status and thought I can be of some help. I corrected some minor mistakes, but generally speaking, the article looks like a GA candidate. The only thing the I couldn't address is finding a better source for the second sentence from the introduction and placing that information in the "recording" section. The intro could also use some expanding by the way. Anyway, when you're finished with the improvements, would you like to co-nominate it (with me) for GA? Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers.--Вик Ретлхед (talk) 19:29, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. Hello again Basilisk4u! It just so happens that I made a specific importance criteria about a week ago for artists and recordings. For a long time, I've been wanting to work on the article for Frankie Ruiz (though I wouldn't say he's high-priority per se) but I've never done a biography article before. On a somewhat-related note, the Latin music project scope was expanded to include music from Spain and a little bit of Portugal so we don't solely focus on Latin American music anymore. Simply put, we use the Latin Grammy's definition of "Latin music" since defining something as "Latin" is quite hard. I myself have been working albums that considered to have historical significance such as Romance (Luis Miguel album) which was promoted to FA a few months ago. So would you suggest for a group effort? Erick (talk) 01:33, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Basilisk4u, it's been over a month since you made your last post on this review, and you haven't covered very much of the article. If you don't return to it in the next week or so, we're going to have to assume it has been abandoned, and put the nomination back into the reviewing pool. Given its age, it seems likely that a new reviewer would be found quickly, especially since the GA Cup has begun, and there is a premium for reviewing the oldest nominations. If you're still around, please let us know your plans before then. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:28, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, profile picture looks fine. His childhood photos I think aren't a good idea, because we can say are protected by copyright and Jeff Pinilla isn't the copyholder. Just his interview with him, even his parents and awards could be uploaded. To make sure about it, we may consider use the {{Licenseview}}. With Ozuna, i've leave some references in his talk page. --Apoxyomenus (talk) 19:03, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
RE: Tireless Contributor Barnstar

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Anuel AA you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Gatoclass -- Gatoclass (talk) 04:01, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
An article you recently created, Melodrama (Vicente García album), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks for uploading File:Vicente Garcia - Melodrama Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

OK, I'm done, and I leave the rest to you. Some key things:
The 1993 tour description is completely missing. Please add begin/end dates, number of stops, if known, director (Lapine, I assume) and notable cast names.
The Darlinghurst cite went dead, but I found it archived here. please put this cite in when you have a moment.
Was there no Broadway cast recording for the original production?
Thank you so much! I've nominated the article but will keep making improvements in the meantime. I really appreciate the help. Basilisk4u (talk) 13:25, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
