Primary sources
I've listed Babitskaya 2012 as a tertiary source because, as explained on page 7, xe has relied in turn upon sources such as Bushman 1981 and Hanson Robinson 1898. Like the Gale biography, though, it's a readily available source that's on the WWW, even though going directly to the sources that it relies upon is of course better in this case. Welcome to cottonJust a quick note as I have a busy day ahead. Great to see a co-worker in the mills. One of the problems we encounter is US terms are often wildly different to UK terms- a case in point is the role of a doffer. As a student I doffed pirns- and we never user the term bobbin for other than sewing thread. In ring mills the person was a doffer. In woollen I believe that that the doffing roller- was also called a doffer <Geraint Jenkins ISBN 0 7100 6979 p79.> In such cases I try always to explain AMEng usage and BrEng usage in an article. Sorry this is brief-- loofk forward to a longer chat. --ClemRutter (talk) 08:50, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Close to GA standard already!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:43, 12 July 2012 (UTC) Still, a notable article though. I think I'll nominate both the main article and that together tomorrow as a double. Thanks.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:03, 12 July 2012 (UTC) Boston Caucus. Can you look into this one? It was pretty important in the lead up to the American independence I think.♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:03, 17 July 2012 (UTC) Terrific start. Yeah it was most associated with Samuel Adamson, that's how I came across it.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:34, 20 July 2012 (UTC) Will nom that in a day or two for DYK. Perhaps you could find something on Battle of Amgala (1976). We have Battle of Amgala (1989) but the 1976 battle is more notable and caused a major upset when Algerian forces supported the Western Saharans against Morocco.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:10, 22 July 2012 (UTC) Yowzer! That's quite brilliant. I was going to start it but you've proved to me you're better at me at writing on such topics.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:43, 24 July 2012 (UTC) Well, it is a strange part of the world. The heat of the desert causes the people to behave oddly I think! Most of the Islamist nutjobs are from countries where it hits 50 degrees celsius in the summer too!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:17, 24 July 2012 (UTC) Can you find anything to add to International Journal of Medical Microbiology? Plenty of gb hits but can't find much about the journal itself.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:14, 24 July 2012 (UTC) That'll do eh. It has zillions of hits in google books as a reference but couldn't find much about it itself...♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:55, 25 July 2012 (UTC) Mmm do you think Yaoundé Hospital could be Yaounde General Hospital or Central Hospital? I'm pretty sure it should be moved to one or the other and we should have an article on both? Can you look into it. I'll help out with QPQ if you nom and review one article I'll review two. Can you see if you can find anything on National Highway 126 (India) and National Highway 128 (India). Casliber (talk · contribs) 00:02, 2 October 2012 (UTC) Gabarone Dam and Dikgatlhong DamHi: Looking at these articles preparatory to moving the prep set to the Did You Know queue, I think the hook is a bit inaccurate. The newer dam is larger; when the reservoir is filled, that will supplant the older reservoir, or in other words the capacity will be larger, which is what the cited source says. May I tweak the hook wording to one of those, or do you disagree? Yngvadottir (talk) 02:40, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
