Hello AngusWOOF. User: Robert McClenon closed the case on the dispute resolution noticeboard and so please see his comments. As I interpret what he said, we should move the draft into article space and then on the article's talk page copy and paste our discussion that we've had on the draft's talk page and see then what editors think about a "delete discussion". My understanding is that there isn't an issue with a "redirect" because there is no "National drinks" page. Do you agree with my interpretation? If not, what do you think our next step should be? Hi AngusWOOF. I'm super duper excited that the page has gone live, but I think that the page should be called "National drinks", with an "s", not "National drink". The page listing national liquors in entitled "List of national liquors", not "List of national liquor". A companion page to the drinks pages is called "National dish", but I think a better name for that page would be "National dishes". In my mind, to be consistent we could have "National dishes", "National drinks", and "National liquors". Do you have control over the names of those other pages? Thanks, and I'll clean up and add the links as you suggested from other articles after your response to the issue I just brought up. BrieDeChevre, if it's going to be a plural then it should be renamed List of national (plural), as with National bird, National tree. If there is a separate article about what National (singular) is, like with National anthem, then retain that singular. Are you okay with List of national drinks then? The timeline should be converted to prose and sourced with external news articles. Are you sure they designed that particular Driver Monitoring System? Hello AngusWOOF. Please revert the name change of the page. This is not a US university. The European norm is to place the campus name, followed by the university name. For example Royal Holloway, University of London or Balliol College, Oxford.

In France, there are numerous IEP (Instituts d'études politiques). The Paris one, called Sciences Po has six decentralised campuses, including the one in Poitiers. The other IEP are often called Sciences Po Lille, or Sciences Po Grenoble for example. Calling the Poitiers Campus, Sciences Po Poitiers will lead to confusion over its relationship with Sciences Po. Thanks for the other edits, by the way.

You need links to the actual episodes on youtube or a schedule to show title and episodes are being logged. If you can find the season in Media Arts Database, that would be helpful too. I fully under stand your reason for declining the wiki I submitted but I'm asking you to reconsider. I wish there was more info about this girl out there sadly she doesn't make media appearances so I can't link anymore sources. I've just added the ratings but I'm struggling to get it placed properly on the article. This is a very significant album as explained in the notes and in the article itself. I decided to put these through the draft rather than straight into the article space to allow other users to strengthen this before finally accepting it to the article space. AngusWOOF Thanks again Angus, I'm not as familiar with the coding for the review sections as much but worked really hard on this. I've added some key references now though again, it's the placing of them if you want to kindly amend to make sure it's better placed/written and suited but hopefully, finally this can be moved to the article space as I have worked very hard on this since January. Why are external sources more reliable than the artist's social media? And doesn't waiting for the reception and postponing the article going live defeat the whole purpose of people checking Wikipedia to find out about updates on the song? Regarding your histmerge tag, wouldn't this be a case of parallel histories? I had no idea this user was working on a draft because I had never heard of them. Personally I don't really care if the draft is histmerged into the article, but in the past (in some cases) it's been deemed unnecessary if the only user who worked on the other article was the same user who copied their own content into an existing article. Or at least, admins have deemed that to be the case in several previous instances. Ss112 17:36, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

I understand what happened, but several minutes before, I started the page as a stub. Artursilva0220 then copied their content over my basic layout, so in some cases this is determined to be parallel histories (however, in this case, my one edit after Lichtt's redirect might not be considered much of a substantial history). Hi. take a look at the edit history of author's other books Cloud Boy (page as created [1], Pablo's Inferno (page when created [2]), and at author Rhode Montijo's page when first created: [3]. It looks to me like this is an author aho self-promotes by author logging in, creates newbie-looking pages for his books, himself, makes some other edits, and disappears. It's fairly harmless, I mean, it's not like he's editing to persuade readers that measles vaccines are dangerous. E.M.Gregory, do you know which accounts he used to create the page? We could tag the pages and accounts with COI if they contributed substantial content to those articles and it appears to be influenced heavily by the author. If Fiona is connected to the author, then she could be tagged for that too. Thanks for digging up those critic's reviews links and analysis. Adding that section will help neutralize it. • At least with Cloud Boy, Coolabahapple added some reviews, but the other comic can be tagged for notability if it doesn't have reliable sources. I can't tell whether those random editors have COI. If the article has detailed critical reviews, some of which could be negative on the material, and if they show up to try to defend or to delete it, then that should surface as potential COI. • hi AngusWOOF, and E.M.Gregory, i added the two reviews kirkus, and PW to Cloud Boy relatively early in my WP editing when i was a bit literal about notability ie. multiple reviews equals two or more, found two therefore okay, nowadays if i could only find two ("trade") reviews i would still add them but might also add my concerns on the talkpage about technically meeting WP:NBOOK but hoping that another editor could add more (i actually have on my lappie a number of ozzie/nz/british kids book articles that i have half started/not finished as i've only found two tradie reviews for them), with Cloud Boy i see Worldcat shows holdings of 150 libraries, and 160 libraries (for spanish/bi-lingual texts) so it could be deemed reasonably "well known" for a 12year old picture book (actually not unexpected when reviewd by kirkus, and PW), anyway dont have an issue if articles are merged/redirected to author page. For example, the Katie Kazoo, Switcheroo series takes a big section at the library here, but isn't enough to get its own article so it redirects to Nancy Krulik. Hi AngusWOOF Regarding my draft for RED MUSIC that you declined: Although you have pointed out that there is a historical association between RED MUSIC and RED Distribution, they are separate entities that serve different business purposes and should be treated separately for wiki purposes. Additionally, RED Distribution is no longer an active entity. RED MUSIC is a newly created record label as of 2017. As the cited Billboard article indicates, RED Distribution's sales team and labels were merged into The Orchard and RED MUSIC was created as a new division of Sony Music.

When I last messaged AldezD about an anonymous user's minor edit to Legends of the Hidden Temple, I also informed that user (AldezD) that I've got a Change.org petition going to get Legends back on the air, since we already got a Double Dare reboot last year. From what I remember, the person operating the DeviantArt Facebook page said that I shouldn't be sharing my petition while watching the roll call live video that was shown on one of my final days on Facebook and Instagram. Of the things that Wikipedia isn't, Wikipedia probably isn't a site to be sharing a Change.org petition. And no, I haven't put the link anywhere here.

Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for taking the time to look at the article submission. "Network Neuroscience" and Neural Networks are actually very different things. Network Neuroscience is a new up-and-coming field of neuroscience that was established fairly recently (late 2000's). The first Network Neuroscience journal only began publishing articles in 2017, and textbooks on the topic have been around only since 2012, with new ones published more recently. While neural networks are generally artificial computing mechanisms based on brain networks used to complete powerful computations, network neuroscience is not a classification system or a learning mechanism. Rather network neuroscience is introspective, using graph theory to gain deeper insights into true neuroscientific questions of how we think, how diseases manifest in the brain, how the brain changes throughout development, etc.

Because it is still relatively new in the grand scheme of things, I believe that it deserves a wikipedia page to educate and disambiguate, even though there are plenty of other areas around the web that provide great explanations for this branch of science. I expect the article to expand rapidly once it is on the radar of scientists in this field.

I hope to find a way to introduce this topic to the wikipedia community!

Hi there! Thank you for your comment. I appreciate that the Oppenstein Brothers are covered in passing in the page dedicated to their park. However, don't you think that if a family is relevant enough to have a park named in their honor, they could also have enough relevance to a community to merit a Wikipedia page? The sources I have used are relevant; some of them are from the Kansas City Public Library, and some are shared with the park page. The Oppenstein brothers have done quite a bit of good in Kansas City through their charitable foundation, but their history is largely unknown.

However, my draft article covers Soil science certification in the US (overseen by the SSSA), soil science licensing in the US (overseen by individual licensing boards for each state that has a licensing program, though tests are administered by the SSSA), and soil science certification in Australia (overseen by Soil Science Australia, which is not affiliated with the SSSA). Therefore, I believe the contents of this article is beyond the scope of the Soil Science Society of America page. In addition, as other countries adopt soil science certification, they too can be added to this Soil Science Certification and Licensing article, and they would also not be affiliated with the Soil Science Society of America. Hello there!

In 2017 I tried to make a wikipedia page for Kristen McGuire, a voice actor, script writer and director associated with Funimation. It was deleted because it was deemed that she was not notable enough, but that her work as a script writer and directing was promising. I also received notes about her notability pertaining to how little conventions she had been to and her lack of roles. I have been following her and many other English voice actors for several years on Twitter, and she seems to be doing more work these days. She recently played the lead role of Senko in The Helpful Fox Senko-san and I believe she works as a full time script writer for funimation. She listed her convention schedule recently and it looks like she's traveling all over the US, including Anime NYC, My Hero Con in Florida, and several others. I was wondering if her recent accomplishments would qualify her to have a wikipedia page as she seems to be steadily getting cast in new shows and video games. You can see a list of her work on her website. I think it's been updated pretty recently but it seems like she uses twitter the most. Thank you so much for your help! ^_^

I am having a really hard time understanding what it takes to count someone as notable in the industry. There are several cast announcements, interviews, and things like that that talk about what she's done in the industry. The cast announcements are coming from various news outlets and shouldn't count as a primary source, and I see cast announcements used as sources all the time on existing wikipedia pages. If they can count for those, why don't they apply here? I've even seen Twitter announcements from the VA used as a source, which would count as a primary source, right? I saw it on Monica Rial's page. A few years ago, you stated McGuire didn't play any lead roles, so she wasn't notable. Now she has played lead roles and several main roles. You said she hasn't traveled to enough conventions outside of texas. Now she has. She's been to LA, NY, Ohio, Washington, North Carolina, and a bunch of other places. She's done all the things you said counted as notable a few years ago. The specific articles you're requiring for McGuire don't seem to exist for most of the voice actors who have Wikipedia pages. There are a lot of interviews and cast announcements, but hardly any third party articles. I see tons of english vas with wikipedia pages that haven't done the things you've listed. Mallorie Rodak doesn't have any articles about her and I don't think she's ever been to a convention, but she has a wikipedia page. I actually looked it up because I wanted to be sure. I looked up Bryn Apprill and she doesn't have any articles that I can find either. Ben Phillips is a voice actor with a wikipedia page and I've never seen him at any cons or any articles about him either. McGuire has been cast in over 170 anime titles, several games, and has either directed or written on 25 different titles, doesn't that count towards notability?

MissyGraham, you have to understand that it's tough to get a random voice actor notable by just cast announcements. Look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Erika Harlacher. You said the Watch Mojo interview with McGuire doesn't count, but this link you gave me is someone talking with Bryn about her voice acting, so it seems a bit contradictory to me. Also it should be noted that Watch Mojo is a non-anime industry as well. Tatami and a few other characters are from Ketsubutsu Academy. It's weird that they wouldn't have their school listed in that article because they have Shiketsu listed, and those schools are all in the same episodes because they are both rival schools. It seems that article is incomplete. That arc is actually currently playing on Toonami right now. Regardless, McGuire has provided voice overs for movies, shows airing on Toonami, video games such as Smite, and works in the actual production side of anime. I would think all those things combined would be enough to mark her as notable. Most of the voice actors who have wikipedia pages haven't met the markers you've set forth, especially concerning third party articles or being in shows that air somewhere besides online streaming companies. (Again, Mallorie Rodak and Ben Phillips are great examples of this.)

PC Gamer is one of the largest video game sites in the world. 2) Removed the other (COG Connected) 3) As for the third reference, Epic Games, please see our note: Epic Games is not a news site / gaming site, it's the maker of the Unreal Engine, which is extremely popular and reliable, this is a Forbes-listed company, hence it's probably the best reference about our game.

We are the developers of the title, game comes out July 16th, so our intent in creating the page was so people can actually find the info on the title when they browse wikipedia. In fact, someone else (definitely not us) added the mention to this game to our own Wikipedia developer page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novarama).

So if you could approve the page, we'd "link" it from the dev page and add 1-2 images to it (box art, etc.) so we have the type of wikipedia presence that's common for games like this.

Hello AngusWOOF, I am writing as you recently declined my draft article at this link - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Circuits_(Chris_Potter_album) - pointing out that critical reviews were required. In response to this I would note that no review included in the Wikipedia article of any of Chris Potter's albums has given a score of less than 3 stars; in this instance I can find no reviews of 'Circuits' awarding a score of less than four stars. I would not, for example, expect the article for Miles Davis' album 'Kind of Blue' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kind_of_Blue) to be declined or accused of POV bias simply because all the reviews are extremely positive.

Furthermore, the difficulty I have encountered in getting my draft published has been somewhat unexpected given that every previous Chris Potter studio release has its own article here on Wikipedia and some of the articles (such as this one - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Will_Be_(album)) are notably less comprehensive than my draft.

I'm afraid that in this case, as with many 4 star reviews, the reviews in question are positive throughout (they might not award the 5th star simply because, although there may be nothing inherently wrong with the album, it is not especially outstanding). To once again reference the articles of previous Chris Potter releases, I would observe that here (and in other cases) - The Dreamer Is the Dream - when citing 4 star reviews, the author includes only positive comments.

I appreciate the question, but I don't really have a conflict here, other than wanting facts to be correct. :) I used to work for EnvisionTEC when I occasionally updated their content on Wikipedia. While I currently am not employed by ExOne, and also not being paid by them for this, I used to be the editor in chief for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sarahannwebster/) and noticed ExOne had no entry and other entities were acting like they invented some technology that ExOne commercialized a very long time ago. If there was some way to disclose my relationship with EnvisionTEC when editing incorrect fact, I wasn't aware of it. I am not being paid in any way for the ExOne content and am happy to disclose that. Kindly let me know if there's some official way to disclose as I don't recall seeing any prompts along those lines. This is all words that are showing how great he is, and the verbiage only shows that that he amasses a bunch of random world records such as coin stacking or shortest will, that have nothing to do with his primary field. Hello Mr. Sussman had a wikipedia displayed for years and someone deleted it, so I am trying to reinstate it. He recently published a new book "Boxing and the Mob," which is getting excellent reviews. There are reliable sources listed, he has been mentioned in the NY Times, and wrote the book "No Mere Bagatelles" which is the authorized biography of Judith and Gerson Leiber. I just added 3 WMP sources, 2 from people magazine, and some NY Times articles. Mr. Sussman was longtime friend and associate of the Leibers, [who are both prominent figures in art and fashion history, and both have wikipedia pages.

The 30 references that I have given in the article refer to papers published in Financial Times top 50 journals, all of which are of the highest standard and considered as the basis for tenure decisions at major T1 universities in the United States (i.e. the acceptance rate for articles in these journals is around one percent). The books that I have cited are widely held (some appear in over 1,000 university libraries in the United States according to WorldCat.com). In addition, I have made references to Chambers' American Accounting Association's Accounting Hall of Fame Induction, which represents the highest honor any academic accounting can achieve. The selection is made by the AAA's 4,000 members and a panel of the most esteemed academics in our discipline, with has representatives from several Ivy league universities. The Wikipedia entry for the Accounting Hall of Fame reads:

"Selection to The Accounting Hall of Fame is intended to honor and recognize distinguished service and contributions to the progress of accounting in any of its various fields. Evidence of such service includes contributions to accounting research and literature, significant service to professional accounting organizations, wide recognition as an authority in some field of accounting, advancement of accounting education, and public service. A member must have reached a position of eminence from which the nature of his or her contributions may be established."

Thank you for your feedback on this initial draft. Before revising, I was hoping for a little further guidance, so I had some questions/comments pertaining to the feedback you provided. Thanks in advance for your time. The first is to your point that "Music Row" isn't a notable chart. While agreed, it's certainly not "Billboard", however, it is still a very highly coveted chart, actively worked in the country music genre by the same A list artists that sit atop the other larger charts, aforementioned. In other words, it's not just for any musician with a song. It requires some substantial notability to be considered and included in the top 200 of the US. Wondering if there is any room for reconsideration here.

The second comment I was looking for a little clarification on was the one about this section, "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Several of the 12 listed references are full articles, very few, if any, just "passing mentions". In fact, one in particular is the entire front page of the 3rd party newspaper, electronic and hard copy print. There are also several major TV affiliate news channel on-air interviews referenced as well, including WCNC and WMBF, both NBC affiliates in NC and SC, respectively. Also included are major awards, and exclusive event inclusion (CCMF) etc. Would these not sufficiently show 3rd party notability and validation? Thank you for your prompt review and comment on the draft page of Dynamite Clothing. I’ve looked through quite a few sources, and while Dynamite has a very similar sounding name to Groupe Dynamite, it has enough relevancy and significance to be considered for its own wikipedia entry. To take an example from the same industry, it’s similar to Gap Inc. owning brands like Banana Republic and Old Navy, which both have their independent entries on Wikipedia. In plenty of other domains and cases, subsidiaries often have their own pages, such as in the case of Bell Media and Virgin Mobile Canada being part of BCE Inc. Groupe Dynamite operates Garage and Dynamite, both well-known stores in Canada which have their distinct branding and target demographics. I have added more information about the brand and found sources backing up every bit of it. Hope this clarifies this entry submission. Have a great day, and I appreciate your editing work!

Thank you Angus, you've always been very fair. Wikipedia for me is a place where we all help contribute to grow which is why I decided to put this through the draft method rather than just straight to the article space, in regards to those references you mentioned I keep getting conflicting things because people ask me to add more and then others say remove them and then others will then say there's not enough so it goes round in circles, I thought myself this was excessive but because of this I covered them all hence why, so it really becomes a place of conflict. I know each reviewer has different things they go by which is noted in the Wikipedia notability but what I do need people to understand with this album and why it's very significant is not so much the chart aspect of this (although this has produced national chart hits) but how notable it is to the artist (as the Wikipedia page says some reviewers from an established artist will accept this, others not so much) however it's also part of the significant albums that were recorded at Prince's Paisley Park too (which is very helpful for people using Wikipedia for sources there) so there is all these sides in regards to why, I feel, this album is one of those exceptions with notability and that it's pivotal it has it's own article for the combination of things mentioned. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you and explain this to you because I do find that with this whole approval thing a lot of it is a clash of ego's and power trips (not yourself by any means as you've approved a couple of my articles before too once we've worked on them but I have come across this a lot which you can tell by the editors history too). However I wanted to explain this to you so you can kindly help and understand why this is an album, I feel is not only very notable but one that should be taken into consideration due to the combination of things. It never specifically made a massive chart impact due to complications with Polydor and it's distribution however it did create international chart hits and of course the Paisley Park thing I mentioned too, which doesn't help just being on an artists page (if that makes sense), it's just an album that is very significant in it's own right which hopefully you can understand a little better now as I know this helps when it comes to reviews.

If you could be so kind to have a little browse and work on the article (The Key) by removing any sources you feel are excessive that would be great, again, it's a complete clash here with various reviewers requesting more then others saying too many that it becomes quite frustrating. I've been working on this very hard since January to get it right with all the requested info and growth of the article I do feel it's something that it's almost there but it's just getting it right really as like I say, so many people have different reasons of their own it's very contradicting and I know there is some who just like to go round denying people's articles or making their work difficult cause they get some power trip from that or something (again, this is absolutely not yourself, this is just something I have seen on numerous occasions with certain reviewers) so I'm really glad when I see your name come across things as I know you're very genuine and fair though I did want to kindly ask you in regards to this with the clean up, put in another review and when you're ready hopefully you can kindly review this again and finally have the article moved to the article space.

Okiokidude, the main thing is to provide news sources to show he meets WP:MUSICBIO. You can list WP:THREE news articles that are independent of his production team that go over his career in detail but that are not interviews. The discography looks like a copy of his website with all the personal comments, so it really should be removed and only labeled albums and charted singles should be posted. I would need some more direct help and guidelines in order to know, which sources do not count as reliable. I read all the wiki instructions, but it is difficult for me to understand, what is allowed and what is not. Is there a way to talk in private or we have to discuss it all here? I am planning to update many other artists in the techno scene, as I think that those, who have been in the scene for long, deserve it, just like pop singers or other celebrities. Some already have a page, but I would like to extend it with a lot more information, but for that I need to have a better understanding in which information I can use from pages like Discogs or Resident Advisor, or whether I can refer to a Dutch online news magazine as a source in an English wiki article etc. Could you help me, please, to do it right?

Criterion 2 International-level Academic Award: The awards listed under the "Selected Awards and Honors" section of the draft are considered major awards in the area of Public Administration. Per WP:NACADEMIC, publications of the awarding institution are considered a reliable source, so I revised the draft to include 1) the name of the awarding institution, and 2) reference to the publication of the awarding institution.

Criterion 3 Elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society: Kim is an elected lifetime international fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, a congressionally chartered non-partisan non-profit academy in Washington D.C. Per WP:NACADEMIC, publications of the electing institution are considered a reliable source, so I again revised the draft to include 1) the name of the electing institution, and 2) reference to the publication of the electing institution.

Criterion 4 Affecting academic institutions: As an example, I'd like to highlight his article (with Gregory Lewis) entitled “ Asian Americans in the Public Service: Success, Diversity, and Discrimination” published in the Public Administration Review (volume 54, number 3) in 1994. Such is the first article dealing with Asian American employment and representation in the American federal government. This article is now frequently used for discussing diversity and representation matters in the American public personnel management classes. This article is recently included in a book edited by Walter Doyce Broadnax, who was a Distinguished Professor of Public Administration at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and the president of Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, entitled Diversity and Affirmative Action in Public Service (Taylor and Francis, 2018).

Criterion 5 Appointment as a "Distinguished Professor": Kim was a Distinguished Professor at Yonsei University. Per WP:NACADEMIC guidelines, I've updated the draft to include 1) the name of the appointing institution, and 2) reference to the publication of the appointing institution.

Criterion 7 Impact outside academia in their academic capacity: Kim has served as the Minister of Personnel Management in the Republic of Korea (and Secretary to the President for Personnel Policy prior to that). Also, although not noted in the article draft, as another example of his activities outside academia, Kim recently held a session at Indonesia's 2019 Presidential Lecture. Also as noted in the draft, Kim has led a number of professional associations, and was a member of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration for two terms.

Criterion 8 Chief Editorship: Kim served as the editor-in-chief of well-regarded academic journals in the Public Administration subject area. I've updated the draft to make sure the article includes a reliable reference (i.e. publications of the journal / publishers).

In addition to the points above, I noted that tone & bias may potentially be of concern, so I've cleaned-up what I could find.
