Where to ask Questions

I totally agree and have added several references to the article. I only mention the Offline Sources Policy because the local paper, Ventura County Star, has subscriber only access for some articles. I can't tell if the article behind the pay wall unless I check it with another computer. The local articles are very helpful though and I think at some point they make older articles available to anyone.

Thanks for the pointer. I have only become active again in Wikipedia this year, last being heavily active in 2008/09 and around then red links to potential articles were (still) okay. I see the essay you refer to was only commenced in 2008. Please note that I have for the time being put the dab entry back but without the red link. Cheers. Hello, I see you reverted my edit to the Paris Air Show crash. While you may subjectively feel that you've improved the flow of the sentence, the standard way of expressing most numbers is in words from one to nine and in figures thereafter. As this is an article in an encyclopaedia rather than poetry, I wonder whether you would consider reverting your revert? Eric Blatant (talk) 12:09, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for your edits to Wikipedia and your interest in this article. According to the MOS, either way is correct. (In general, write whole cardinal numbers from one to nine as words, write other numbers that, when spoken, take two or fewer words as either figures or words) I was not trying to be poetic but Wikipedia as an encyclopedia definitely does have a style. The sentence properly begins with a number word: Three children... (Avoid beginning a sentence with figures). The word sixty is appropriate for the sentence since they both refer to a number of human beings. Evancahill, I haven't had a chance to comment but it is really coming along. You may be able to improve it after looking at the article ^[1] I added to Henry T. Oxnard Historic District. The sentence "It contains many different architectural styles." could be improved as that could describe almost anywhere.

Hello! I have recently started a new WikiProject and am trying to recruit new members. The project, WikiProject Wildfire, focuses on articles that relate to wildfires. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. From updating templates, to classifying and improving articles. Any level of commitment is welcome! Problem is you didn't give any sources so it is completely WP:OR which is a big no-no. Particularly since this a WP:GA, it is super important to keep it cited. Well, here's my first question: I am in the process of updating the William Joseph Seymour page, and I could use an experienced editor to look over my shoulder.
