He is a library clerk. I don't think that listing his blogs, "Youtube", "Facebook" and "My Space" account plus as a "reference" having passed via some EU crash-coures in International Politics makes him, say, equal to Nelson or Jefferson.Regular guy, straight walking on the sidewalk, presenting himself (and it is plain obvious, no "libel", nor need for "forenscic expertise" that he wrote this article himself just like his several hundreds personal webpages. If being a former parliamentory, without any high level political merits (i.e ideology, historical decision, dissidentship etc.) than Wikipedia should add 40.000 retired deputies from all Continents every year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.205.46.170 (talk) 08:27, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
I will leave it as it is now. When you leave a comment please add ~~~~ to the end of the post to sign it with your name / ip. Also a little tip to you, please try not to just use caps as you did in that article as it looks bad and that was the main reason i reverted it. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont13:57, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Guru Gobind Singh
Please can you read the discussion page on Guru Gobind Singh and see if his death as a result of a stab wound as a result of an assassination attempt amounts to being worth airbrushed from historical facts ? Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.3.244 (talk) 22:02, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for my error on that page. I thought that you had just randomly added "death = Stabbed and wounded to death by Jamshed Khan". That is why i removed it. Sorry for any troubles i have caused. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont11:59, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
User:Addshore/welcome
Hi, just a heads up for you: your welcome message doesn't seem to adopt today's date (see [1] for example), but Feb 29. That's all :) SeveroTC23:31, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Excuse me, but I have a right to blank my talkpage if I want. Stop violating it, it's not your talk page.AngelofMadness (talk)
I am afraid i will not let you remove warnings that in my opinion should stay there forever. Also about 10 seconds after i add them there and other users warns too. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Could I ask a quick question? What would I type in the Edit Summery when I undo a vandalized edit to make it read the "Reverted possible vandalism..." commonly seen rather than the "Undid edits..." placed in there ahead of time? Also, how do I revert back to an edit that might be three edits away from the current? Thanks. NeuGye (talk) 19:22, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
I recommend that you test out a script called twinkle. i think WP:twinkle should get you there. There are certain requirments for that though. "Reverted possible vandalism..." is generally used by bots though. You could always just type it in yourself :). ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:10, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

I recently put up page that I wish to have deleted immediately. How do I do that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brickhousemortar (talk • contribs)

Apologies accepted see above re: Guru Gobind Singh.
WRT Khalistan, this page is subject to so much ideolgical false pov, I would recommend you read up Neo-fascism and religion and Sikh Extremism and study the parallels. Thanks, Dave Green

When you post on people user talk pages please try to keep it all under one heading and also sign your posts by adding ~~~~ to the end of you post. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:18, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
If you think your going to make mistakes repeatedly then perhaps I would suggest some background research before making decisions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.3.244 (talk) 08:33, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
You can click on the "history" tab at5 the top of the page. This will then show you show has edited the article and when and a reason also. You can then click on the date and it will bring up what the article looked like at that time. You can compare the versions as well to see what has been changed. I hope this helps. If you need more then please ask here and i will be happy to help. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:37, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
MoneyMakingMachine.???
I don't exactly know if this is a scam but every time i watch Youtube to find videos on ways to make money online i end up here.
In these videos you will see various people with different backgrounds saying that they make 200$ or more in a day putting in only 2hrs or so of work.
I was interested in a video which said one could earn money just by uploading pictures and adding simple tags to them.Yes he earned 150$ for doing this as well.
When i visit this site www.moneymakingmachine.cn,all i can see are more Ads pertaining to Home businesses and how they will help you get started.
I'm kind of fed up...So if anyone knows or has experience with this site please answer.
Hi there. This is actually my personal talk page where people talk to me :) Personally i dont know anything about this website though. Sorry i couldn't be of any help to you. If you have any other questions regarding Wikipedia then please ask them here. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont17:23, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Looking at your other contributions I'm sure it was an error but you reverted Cluebot and in the process blanked the page. I've fixed it so nothing to worry about. Kind regards, nancy(talk)17:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. Yes i do accidentally revert Cluebot. This normally happens when i push my revert button just as clue bot reverts it. The page refreshes and reverts clue bots revert therefor i don't see them. Thanks for informing me about this and correcting the problem for me. I am constantly trying to not revert Cluebot in this way but sometimes it is unavoidable. Again thanks for your help. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont17:55, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Why did you add yet another last warning? Obviously they have no effect on this user; someone else gave him one yesterday, and you gave him one last month. Why didn't you just block him? Pdfpdf (talk) 23:18, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Addshore is not an admin. Also, the one yesterday was a level 3. Addshore gave a level 4. They call me XReally23:21, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for replying "x" :D. I go through a set sequence. 1,2,3,4,block. Also yes i cant block but only request blocks. So i didn't give them a second last warning the other warn was level3 (not last) and i gave him one last month but i ignore these really. I didnt block him because i cant :). I hope this clears thigns up ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont09:30, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Well what i have to say is please learn how to format your posts properly :). Also if you have a dispute with something in the article please bring it up in the talk page. There it can be discussed and resolved. Also when you talk on someones talk page please add ~~~~ to the end of your post to sign it. If you need more help please just ask here. I have removed my warning from your user page. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont15:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
You got the signing right. When you add stuff to a talk try to keep it under ther same heading. with the formatting i mean you just left Bold text in your post :) ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes and did you just register an account? :) I will be back latter so may not respond for a while now. Also add : infront of your post to indent it once and :: twice as i have done now and above. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Good good. The sandbox is always a good place to start. Also can i tell you that when you leave a message on someones talk page you should sign it by adding ~~~~ to the end of the message. Thanks. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont19:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

I Tiptoety present you, Addshore with this barnstar for going above and beyond to protect wikipedia from vandalism. Keep up the great work reverting, reporting, and helping out at AIV. Cheers, Tiptoetytalk21:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I have been asked a few times now and recently my answer has been no because of the fact that I currently have two adoptee's and that takes up a good amount of my time...but for you I may make an exception. Let me think about it. Tiptoetytalk21:25, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks <3. I dont think i would pass an RFA at the moment and have been waiting to get a coach for a while now :). Post here when you have decided.. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont21:27, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I think at this point in time I do not have the time to dedicate to coaching you, but once I graduate one of my adoptee's I would be happy. I know you can not wait that long so I went ahead and asked User:Rudget[2] if he would be willing to coach you, and then once I have some more time I could co-coach. Sound good? Tiptoetytalk23:17, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
It appears that Rudget currently does not have the time as he already has two coachee's. I will continue to look for ya. Tiptoetytalk19:13, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually I do not use IRC all that often, and the only time I do is when admin-related duites call upon me to do so. Tiptoetytalk21:58, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
mmm thats a great shame to be honest, I'm not sure you have ever been to Westbourne House School, but the leavers of 2003 are very much part of the history. I don't know why you would care anyway but the fact that my contribution is true and 'fact' really upsets me that you took them down. Please can you put the information back up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.68.112.244 (talk) 21:43, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Nope i havn't ever been there. It's just something in the back of my head with the whole thing. You had them both as porn star... then you changed them... Yeh something tells me im not going to undo what i just did. If you think you are right then please add them again but i am sure someone else will remove them for me. You seem to be unsure and i hope you understand why i reverted these edits. Also can you please sign messages you leave on talk pages by adding ~~~~ to the end. Thanks. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont21:48, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Update to the microgaming page
Hi,
I'm just warning new (and existing) poker players that their funds would not be safe onthe microgaming network.
All the information can be found: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthread.php?t=141341
I won't ask you to read it all because it's over 130 pages already but it basically means that if you keep your funds on the microgaming network your funds are not hold in trust.
I'm trying to make sure that people are aware of that. What kind of edit would be allowed to make sure this message gets across?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Robin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.212.48.51 (talk) 23:21, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
The first thing i can recommend to you is that you do not use CAPS.MICROGAMING IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO KEEP YOUR FUNDS! It kind of looks bad. Also you need to try and have it as factual as you can. Also try to locate it somewhere in the article it would fit in with. Not at the very top ^^. Also can i recommend that you create an account (top right) and when you leave comments on talk pages please sign them by typing ~~~~ at the end. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont23:27, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
There was no final warning so i said there was no final warning. I just make things easier for admins and state things there to make it "easier" for them instead of clicking a load of buttons. And for your info the ip you subbmitted got blocked for 31 hours :) ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont00:33, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Im glad to see that i gave you new ideas for templates :). The way to progress them is to use them too much and then realize they could be better and then change them :D. Lol funny comment and can i copy it? :) Also yeh i agree i did way to much. /me is dead. Ill be back latter now. See ya·Add§hore·Talk/Cont07:10, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
~2600 edits ALREADY in April? Remarkable. You must've spent hours on Huggle. I don't think I've even hit 500 edits this month. EnigmamsgReview07:10, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeh i do it a biut and also i ahve a very keen eye for vandalism. Also some of the edits could include AWB stuff i do from bot requests :). ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont10:33, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
hey
the information that wiki has on the game pong is incorrect, Pong was invented by the man Ralph H. Baer and the Video game named Odyssey was released May 1972 before Atari brought out there's in November 1972, hence Ralph was the original creator. For more information read www.pong-story.com. re: pirin macedonians
hi, addshore i noticed you commented on the page pirin macedonians. since you have commented it was deleted by user:laveol i was wondering are you an administrator? if not do you know one? also could you please tell why the page might have been a POV? thank you P m kocovski (talk) 21:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. I dont think it was deleted i think it was moved. If you go to pirin macedonians then it should redirect you to it. I am not an administrator. If you go into special pages then users and select the group administrators it will give you a list of the administrators on wikipedia. I dont think that page would have been POV. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont07:42, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
You removed my request for action against an anon IP who wrote fuck you. Does that mean that doing so is not punished by a ban? I am confused.Xenovatis (talk) 14:51, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. I did not remove this ip but a bot did. You acctually added the ip / block request to the wrong bit of the page. You added it into the instructions but it is meant to go at the bottem under where is says this is where the list begins. Thanks ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont14:55, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there, I added an IP vandal notice to the AIV page, and you added a comment, I responded, and once I did someone else blocked the IP.. for the record, here was my question - I don't want you to think I simply added it back in so someone else would do it! BananaFiend (talk) 15:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
I didn't warn the user because they had already received a warning, cluebot just rolled back a vandalism and also didn't warn - again I think because of the final warning. I can re-start the process, or should I final-warn again? BananaFiend (talk) 15:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. Yes i didnt see the heading of april above the other heading of april so i assumed that that was the only warning. The ip as block now as you saw. sorry for any inconvenience i caused ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont15:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

ELYSEKEEN
Hi there, you added a stale tag to a vandalism report recently, I re-added it for discussion and the user was blocked, and the page protected. I thought I'd let you know so you wouldn't think I was re-adding in the hopes someone else would block. Also, I think that staleness is relative to the type of activity the user (and in this case their sock) take part in. The sock edited the day before, this user the next day, I don't think that a few hours makes this one stale? Let me know what you think though - I guess we're both interested in vandalism! BananaFiend (talk) 09:51, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
yep, I saw that - it was someone else that removed it. I was just wondering if it was stale (see relativity of stale above)? BananaFiend (talk) 09:56, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
As you can see here [3] SteveCrossin removed the report. We then had a talk.
Anyway it is good to see that he got blocked. and i hope this explains the actions.
Also stale is when a user has not edited for a period of time and this user had not therefor i marked it.·Add§hore·Talk/Cont09:58, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
First off, this may be the case because Neil has deleted my carefully set forth description of an orchestrated attack upon me recently at Self-replicating machine (that I posted at his talk page on this subject). Recently, I was attacked by what I like to describe as a gang of hackers (in the classic definition) who were as well admins. When I reported it, saying I was reporting it to authorities Yamla[4] blocked me for "legal threats" which is ridiculous. I rotated my IP to continue to try and deal with the libel and was blocked permanently and lies were told by Yamla in the process to get that done. I prepared a short as possible layout with diffs and the works and Neil said he did not understand it. No wounder, I had shortened it up because the prior description (labeled a rant by abject idiots) resulted in a further block. Right now a complete lie exists about me at Self-replicating machine at in the F-Unit article therein. The lie is this line:
"To date, no working examples of such devices have been constructed"
This is a Bio attack and I am not a regular "editor", just here to fight it. This (and the short contentious article) was placed, supplanting the earlier article voted in by many experts working there after hundreds of pages of talk by several contentious editors acting as a cabal and who wrote the present one. None of the writers of the present article participated in the many pages of talk aside from several rude comments at me while posting it. I am working in trade secret and I am in no obligation to divulge video of my working device for wikipedia purposes. They have no proof that a working model does not exist so they have no source to that vicious remark. Further, I pointed out repeatedly that the patent office has record of a working model being presented (which they ignored). They have blocked all further voting (which are mostly my friendly voting editors). This is insane. If you want to take the time to read my detailed description of this tell me where to put it because Neil simply deleted it even though he stated he did not understand it. If you are looking for a short description it can't exist after the long history over this F-Unit article. Stupids will call it a rant.
I see you is with tisali. can you tell me is they any gd? i got a friend who said dat they is well bad and theyre call centres in India are a real pain in da @ss? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.77.248.48 (talk) 12:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Yep. I don't actually like them either. Their call centers are rubbish and i recommend everyone not to go with them. They don't even know what speed internet they are meant to be supplying you. Also you cant really download or game from 6:00 till 10:00 pm or something stupid because of an AUP. Also apparently with them the max we can get is 2mb but with other suppliers we can get 9mb e.t.c. I hope this helps. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont12:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I was wondering if disambiguation pages were really supposed to be categorized - more often than not they redirect to all kinds of different categories. Sumerophile (talk) 19:02, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for telling me about this. I think the problem was that the page didn't contain disambig on it so it recognized it as a normal page. I have now added disambig on this page now but i am afraid that this will happen again in the future if a page is not tagged in this way. Anyway thanks lots for spotting this mistake i hope i don't do this to many times in the future. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont21:40, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Aha, Thanks I didn't know about the disambig template. If I see another category tag on a disambig page, I'll replace it. Sumerophile (talk) 00:45, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Why did you add an uncategorized tag to Dharan, Nepal? The correct thing to do would have been to find the edit that removed the categories and the interwiki tags, and revert it. Old and developed articles that lack them are usually vandalized, not permanently lacking these tags.--Prosfilaes (talk) 16:46, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I added the uncategorized tag because, well, it was uncategorized. I was unaware of the fact that someone had removed the cat but i was using WP:AWB and you don't really see much when using it. At least the vandalism has now been reverted. Sorry for any inconvenience i caused. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont17:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. Thanks for telling me about this. I think i just wasn't quite paying attention enough to what i was clicking save on. Thanks for informing me about this. I have undone my edits back to the original. I use AWB to scan the New Pages and tag them but i will have to set something up to make sure that i don't accidentally edit more copyvio's in the future. Thanks :) ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont22:36, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
You are welcome. Others have done it as well. I did notice you recently copied the text on my user page to yours. Thief! ;) --Rockfang (talk) 22:55, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Hey there. Im sorry for the late reply. The reason i tagged this pages was because i was using AWB and also i did not actually know that subbages were not meant to be tagged. I normally just scan the new pages and tag them but i am sorry for tagging these pages. Thanks for reverting them for me and telling me that what i did was wrong ;p. If you see anything in the future from me that is wrong then please tell me here. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont07:48, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I did not mean to make a general statement about all subpages. Just the subpages of List of InuYasha chapters. Although it is no longer the usual practice to transclude subpages for large articles, I did it in this case because this article threatens to become extremely long as new volumes of InuYasha are translated to English. Some user's browsers/editors might not be able to handle the source file correctly, if they tried to edit it all at once. Thanks for your understanding of this special case. JRSpriggs (talk) 08:02, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Ahh ok. Well thanks for telling me that then ^^. /me wipes thoughts from memory ^^. Again sorry for my late replay and lets hope i dont do something like this again ^^. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont08:07, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

It's getting increasingly more difficult to find an article that you have not yet contributed to. For all the tedious and repetitive but ever so important work you have been doing so far, I award you The Working Man's Barnstar. Keep up your exemplary work! SWik78 (talk) 17:38, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Aargh, you had me worried for a moment that I'd forgotten to protect it properly! Now I see that the page was deleted by another admin but not reprotected. Thanks, BencherliteTalk08:57, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Hey. I was just wondering how did you rollback all of this users edits so quickly? Do admins have no rollback limit? Just curious :) p.s. thanks for blocking it. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont11:35, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Lol. I really dont know what it is. I havnt even been able to use huggle properly in about a week. Iv just been fiddiling with my monobook and statusbot / templates / images e.t.c Thansk for your help reverting it. <font%
No problem. Maybe you should ask an admin to semi-protect your user pages so that anon IPs can't edit them. SWik78 (talk) 15:10, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi Addshore, your user and talk pages seem to have attracted more than your fair share of vandalism today, so I have protected both for a week. Let me know if you'd prefer to have them unprotected earlier. Oh, and whatever you are doing to upset the vandals, keep up the good work :-) Best, Gwernol17:47, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
It sounds like it's been a rough week for you so I'll do what little I can so that it doesn't get any worse than it already is. That's what friends are for, right :)
Peace! SWik78 (talk) 18:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
I think you really should consider keeping your pages semi-protected indefinitely. Don't think I mind helping revert all the jack-asses, it just might give you less grief, that's all. SWik78 (talk) 14:43, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, sure, that would be great. Thanks for what you've already done. There's already some basic rules on User talk:Jack/ABs, so if you want to help maintain this, sure. A tag has been placed on Image:Volcano Pink Field.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Wikipedia have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont19:05, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
I am very sorry that i reverted this edit. It is 100% my fault. Im sorry and i see you have already restored the page. I will also remove that warning from your talk page. Thanks for reporting this error to me ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:32, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. When you make an edit just bellow where you type in all of the content there is a little box. Sometimes it will already have an automatic edit summary in it. If it does not then you should try to add a brief sentence saying what your edit is doing to the article. E.g. adding images e.t.c. I hope this helps. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont23:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for voting in my RfA, which passed with 194 supporting, 9 opposing, and 4 neutral. Your kindness and constructive criticism is very much appreciated. I look forward to using the tools you have granted me to aid the project. I would like to give special thanks to Tim Vickers, Anthony and Acalamari for their nominations. Thank you again, VanTucky
Hi there. To add an edit summary please just write a little description of what you have done in your edit in the box below the edit box on wikipedia. Sometimes this will automatically be done for you. If you want to upload an image you have to click the "upload file" link in the tool box or click here. I think you need to register to upload files. To do this please click on the register button (top right) I hope this helps. If you need more help feel free to ask here. I am going out now though and i may take a while to respond. Also can you please sign comments that you leave on users talk pages or any other talk page by adding ~~~~ to the end of your name. Thanks again. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont16:11, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about removing content from the Justin Bowen page but it is afterall a page that is contested and is about an unfamiliar person. Please give me a reply on my talk page, thank you.Motofan (talk) 19:07, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, hi. I don't know if it was you or an automated thing, but you put a message in my user talk page welcoming me to Wikipedia, even though I've been here since 2005. I thought I had a new message from someone, but instead I get an intrusive impersonal entry telling me to sign my posts. Please tell me where did I not sign my posts, because as I remember correctly, I have always signed my posts. Whether that was the reason for your post on my talk page or not, it's annoying. In conclusion, even if it was you or a bot of some sort, please don't do it. Kreachure (talk) 19:11, 24 April 2008 (UTC) PS. A postscript by definition goes after a signature. That doesn't mean that I didn't sign my posts, like in the present message.
Sorry. I didn't relise that you had been on wikipedia for so long. it was me and not a bot and when i added it there was nothing on the talk page >.<. Something at my end probably messed up. Sorry for that. Ill try not to do it again ^^. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont19:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism on predation by an IP was reverted by you here, but you didn't take a look at what you were reverting to. You have to do this, otherwise you are taking a fair chance that you're just reverting to another vandalized version. In this case that's exactly what happened: this edit was what you reverted to, which, though appearing to be 'changing a wrong piece of info', is just a vandal in disguise. Please don't let vandals fool you like this again.
Hi there.Yes I reverted the user 69.138.217.72 for what he does http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Predation&diff=prev&oldid=207995374 here.] That was vandalism and i feel justified in reverting it. I don't know about the other edit which is made after the vandalism edit virtually reverting it back to normal. That diff must have loaded whilst i was looking at the previous one and i must have clicked my big revert button before it loaded so i did not see that they had just undone their vandalism. One thing i didn't see when looking was this vandalism was this and the other diff was about 4 hours long. I do look at every edit that i make and in my opinion i use all of my tools well. One thing i must say is if you have already seen that the previous edit / edits were vandalism then why have not you undone my bad move and reverted back to here. I have now done this for you to save you time. Also i will not be removing the warning from the ip that i warned for his vandalism as i fell it is justified as he did vandalize the article and that is what i saw. If you have any other questions please ask me. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont06:31, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Not reverting myself was an accident. I occasionally do things like this, e.g. warning a vandal without actually reverting the vandalism. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you see me do that! Richard001 (talk) 06:56, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Normally when i make a mistake over reverting it is normally a very clear one. I normally see them whilst i am reverting and stop and go back remove the warns and undo my revert. This case it was impossible for me to do that and I will say i am sorry for any of your time that I might just have wasted. I doubt i will ever see you make a mistake but if i do i will try to remember to tell you. Personally i also like people telling me about my mistakes, its the only way that i can correct them and make myself more alert over the same mistake again. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont07:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
No problem. It's not that big a thing i just like to ry to inform some people i notice dont use them. Really its quite random who gets picked. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont13:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Well I'm too lazy even on it.wikipedia about edit summaries... that's no good, once is not a big thing, but always it is! So thank you :) --Ginosal (talk) 13:56, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Semantics of edit summaries
As far as I can tell, you or a bot left a "reminder" to leave an edit summary when such was superfluous, at Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary{{#if:|, which wasn't included with your recent edit to {}}}. {{#if:|{}|Thank you.}} <!-- Template:uw-editsummary --> <font color="blue">·Add§hore· T<small>alk</small>/C<small>ont</small></font> 21:07, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Mine was the first entry on the user's talk page, and conveyed a heading. As such, a manual ==heading== conveys all the meaning that an edit summary would convey. Sinebot is one thing, but an enforcer of edit summaries seems a bit much. Indeed, I have my preferences configured to remind me not to leave an edit summary, which didn't seem to find anything wrong with what I did. You may want to explore the logic a bit farther, as irrelevant reminders do not add positively to the editing experience. An edit summary is indeed useful, but the equivalent semantics existed in this case. Is there now a Wikipedia policy requiring edit summaries?
Howard C. Berkowitz (talk) 21:20, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. It was me and not a bot. Also the message is a template and is the same for everyone that gets it sent to them. I have looked through your contribs now and i have seen that you did not make an edit without an edit summary. I am afraid to say then that i must have added the template by accident. I am sorry for any inconvenience that i have caused you. I will also remove the message from your talk page. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont22:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok i now have a strange feeling that i havn't read your message right. I havn't messaged you :S. Man i really have confused myself now. Any chance you could add some more details? ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont22:19, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Well do you know what an eidt summary is? If not please just ask me. An example of you not using one is in this edit on this page. To add one just type a summary of what changes you have done in you edit into the box below the edit box. I hope this makes sense. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont21:25, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Delete!
Just delete that fppd picture if you can, i do not know how to! it is not used on any pages anymore and it is not needed!!! Cherokee40 (talk) 21:33, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Your edit [6] is considered vandalism. Per Wikipedia policy users are free to edit their own talk pages and remove comments as desired. This also applies to users which are identified with an IP address instead of a username. Please refrain from editing any users talk page, besides adding constructive content, in the future. 64.238.172.212 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 00:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. I am sorry for that revert. I obviously read the page title wrong and i reverted as i didn't see that it was your talk page. I am well aware of what i have done and i see that you have reverted my mistake. I must thank you for that and also thank you for telling me about my mistake as this is the only way that i can try not to make them again. I will also remove the warn from your talk page if you havn't already. Thanks again and sorry. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont15:42, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Itslearning_homepage.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Itslearning_homepage.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 08:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
You added the uncategorised tag to this page with AutoWikiBrowser, but failed to notice the text had been replaced with "who cares". While i caught it, its your responsibility as an AWB user to "check every edit before you hit save", where you could've noticed the vandalism. Sorry to sound up myself, just trying to tell people if they make mistakes; that way they wont next time. Ironholds (talk) 12:45, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I hold the same kind of mind. Its great if people tell you that you have made a mistake otherwise you don't know you have made it. Then you keep on making it. I do check the edits that i make using AWB and i honestly don't know how i didn't spot this. I am guessing that the Carlos Becker Westphall page was in the list of uncategorized articles as that and another page is where i get my list from to scan. I just checked the diff and yes i agree that that was quite a big thing to miss. Thanks again for telling me ^^. If you ever see anything i do wrong again please tell me. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont15:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
New Project
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 17:03, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I see you've been doing some nice jobs with your AWB. However, you've been tagging former categorized pages as uncategorized. It happens that their categories were removed due to vandalism. As a member of the uncategorized task force, I've been doing some categorizing on the last few minutes and I've come to these vandalized pages that you tagged as uncategprized:
I already reverted the pages to the last acceptable version. I'm not trying to criticize your work, furthermore, I encourage it. But isn't there a way for you to check previous versions of the pages that you edit before adding tags to them? Thank you, Victor Lopes (talk) 22:35, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
I was checking all of those pages as i edited them. I have added an ignore for any page with disambig as i know that they should not be tagged. That gets rid of the last page. The first page i did not edit. The other 2 pages i cannot see how i could avoid that unless i look in the history but those edits were testing for a bot and in a way you have helped as i will ignore disambig's but i cant find any way to make the bot not realize the vandalism. I will probably not be making many more AWB edits under this account but instead they will be on my bot acount. I really will just have to hope that people spot these false positives and revert / report them. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont22:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, that's true, you didn't edit Aatish (film). Sorry for the lack of attention. And yes, you really would have to look in the history, but that's exactly the point, take a quick look at the history and you may avoid unnecessary tagging. As for the bot, I'm not really familiarized with them, but I never really trusted machines nor any kind of artificial intelligence, at all. I mean, they think only what they are meant to think, they cannot solve problems they were not programmed to. But if you're not able to avoid it, no problem, just keep up with the good work, other editors will fix any possible problem. Cheers, Victor Lopes (talk) 18:10, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Well i think the reason the program did this was because the program is actually kind of half version. I have notified the developers and they should hopefully be trying to fix this. One unfortunate fact is that the program will never quite be right because of the ever changing nature of wikipedia. It just takes one thing to be changed slightly to ruin a programs functionality =]. Again thanks for telling me about this as without it i would never have noticed. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont19:27, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Fix and tag
Hi
a few edits from your latest AWB run have popped up on my watchlist. Mostly good work, but there have been a few which appear only to tweak whitespace in a way which doesn't affect the display, such as this one. That sort of use of AWB is discouraged, and while I know from experience that these things aren't always easy to avoid, I just thought I'd point it out to you in case there is anything you can due to reduce the incidence. --BrownHairedGirl(talk) • (contribs) 07:54, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Yep i have changed that option now. It will now only change white space if it is also changing something else on the page. Thanks for telling me about this edit. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont07:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
HI
sorry but i was trying 2 help sorry again thank all tha admin for the coll site.
The bot is authorised to do general fixing[7] (see bottom comments). That is not this bots main task but the tagging is. The list the bot is currently running off is comprised of a series of dates of Special:UncategorizedPagesSpecial:LonelyPagesSpecial:DeadendPages e.t.c. What the bot is doing the bot is allowed to do. I have set the bot to ignore all pages with PAGENAME on them now as i think that is what is causing the problems. I will also talk to the AWB devs and see if this can somehow be implemented into AWB. Thanks for telling me about this. If you have another message then please tell me. I will not start running the bot again until i get your heads up :). ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont12:10, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
You should put links to the approvals on Addbot's page. The last 6 edits (al that I looked at) contained no tagging, be aware that the "special " lists are often very outdated. Need also to check your edit speed is OK with no bot flag. RichFarmbrough, 12:20 5 May2008 (GMT).
Ok i have added the BRFA's to the bots user page next to the tasks they correspond to. I am running the AWB bot again - fixing and i am tyring to fix what i can. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont13:32, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
BY the way, "general fixes" is slightly broken at the moment, as it removes sectstub from articles. RichFarmbrough, 14:27 5 May2008 (GMT).
1) I found what I think is a small bug in the way Addbot handled this article I'm currently editing: Wolfgang Smith. It moved the Lifetime template from where it was, between the Persondata template and the many categories, to above it. This isn't the correct behavior, IMHO, as Lifetime expands to DEFAULTSORT and to the birth and death (or "living people", or "unknown birth", or "unknown death", etc.) categories. In short, with your changes, the end result goes:
From this:
Comment about Persondata
Persondata
(DEFAULTSORT
Birth-related category
Death-related category)
Remaining categories
To this:
Comment about Persondata
(DEFAULTSORT
Birth-related category
Death-related category)
Persondata
Remaining categories
So, please update the bot to take Lifetime into consideration.
Ok, the reason it removed the stub tag is because the whole article has over X amount of words. This is a bug if the article is layed out like this. What i will do is turn the fixing bit of the bot off and then let it run. I will try to find a way i can make it not do these changes but with the option on. Thanks for telling me about what you found! ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont13:07, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
I am running a version of AWB that has not been released yet also. this could cause some problems but should have gotten rid of a few of them also. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont14:31, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Unconstructive Edit?
My edit to George Fenneman was judged as unconstructive. Is this because I didn't log in?
I am sorry for this reversion. This is 100% my fault and i actually have no idea why i did it. Normally I don't make such stupid mistakes as this. I guess this day was an acception. I have removed the warning from your page. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont19:30, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Greetings! You have expressed an interest in joining in with the next NotTheWikipediaWeekly episode. We now have a confirmed date and time: the episode will take place at Friday, 9 May 2008, at 00.30 (UTC). For that episode in various local times, see here. If you'd like to attend, please "enroll" at Wikipedia:NotTheWikipediaWeekly#Confirmed participants. Please also feel free to browse the suggested topics for this epsiode. We look forward to seeing you on Friday at 00.30!
I'm doing it with a program I whipped up out of some of the code I use for the maintenance of the DEP pages. I could reverse the links it removes and provide it to you if you want, but it's written in Python and so requires both the Python software and the Python Wikipediabot Framework if you don't already have them. Let me know if that will suit your purpose or not; if it does I'll e-mail it to you.--Dycedargж02:13, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry but the bot doesn't know if it is a disambig page. But if the bot says disambig anywhere on it then the bot will skip it so that it doesn't tag it. Just wondering but which page was this? ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont00:19, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

You left an edit summary warning on my talk page, but didn't fill in the article entry to which you are objecting. I don't fill in ES for small edits, commentary edits, or edits in a series of edits where I already left an ES that I was working on a major cleanup, as more than one ES would be a redundant nuisance. I'd invite you to look here to see where I add ES when they are necessary. --Faith (talk) 10:05, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
I am sorry for this. I try to only send this message to people that make around 5 edits with no summary but i guess i must have seen something when i sent the message. I have removed the message now as i see you have seen it. I am sorry for any of your time i have wasted. ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont11:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
