Ts'kw'aylaxw First NationThe Ts'kw'aylaxw First Nation, formerly the Pavilion Indian Band and also known as the Tsk'waylacw First Nation, Tsk'weylecw First Nation, and in the plural e.g. Ts'kw'alaxw First Nations,[1] is a First Nations government, located in the Fraser Canyon region of the Central Interior of the Canadian province of British Columbia. It was created when the government of the then-Colony of British Columbia established an Indian reserve system in the 1860s. The Ts'kw'aylaxw First Nation are part of both the Secwepemc (Shuswap) and St'at'imc (Lillooet) Nations, and are located at Pavilion in the Fraser Canyon north of Lillooet.
