Template:Bio-stub is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. formatting

Does this really need a <br> tag inside the <div>? It seems to make an awfully big dead space above it. --Phil | Talk 08:11, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)

Protected

According to the protection log, the protection level was modified earlier today. It was changed to only block new and unregistered users. --TheParanoidOne 22:37, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sortkey

I saw some stubs with a parameter, and realized that could be used as a sortkey for the categories. Of course this would require changing all the other biological stub types. The appropriate section would be changed to
[[Category:People stubs<includeonly>{{#if:{{{1|}}}|{{!}}{{{1}}}|}}</includeonly><noinclude>| </noinclude>]] [[Category:Stub categories]] (for some reason using &#124 didn't work).
