The image in this template is CC-BY-SA. Would it be possible to replace it with one of the public domain options available? That way, it can be given a null alt attribute to prevent repetitive text for screen readers and search engines. Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 20:56, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am writing this in the talk page because I accidentally submitted the edit when typing out its justification in the "edit summary".

I believe that the mittens meme is noteworthy enough to be included on Bernie's template for three reasons:

1 - the Ed Miliband bacon sandwich photograph, which is similar to the Bernie meme, is included on Miliband's Wikipedia template.

2 - the meme gained significant attention from many, and Bernie himself has spoken about it. [1]

3 - Bernie Sanders' Dank Meme Stash, another meme-related topic to Bernie, is included on the template.

I apologie for messing up on the edit's description, and I hope this talk page section can justify the sudden edit.
