Taurus Model 617
The Taurus Model 617 is a double-action, seven-shot, snubnosed revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, with a 2" barrel.[1] It is offered in stainless steel and was formerly available blued.[2][3] A Titanium model was available but has since been discontinued.[4] It features an exposed hammer. The Taurus Model 817 is a double-action, seven-shot, snubnosed revolver chambered in .38 Special that was produced between 1999 and 2006 as the “Ultra-Lite” model.
