nothing else to write than police, crime, and attack?
guys, you have nothing else to report than US style fear news, as michael moore described in bowling for columbine? you collect news from all over the world, and there is so much going on. from kids, helping others, social security, economy, finance, stock market, etc etc. ThurnerRupert (talk) 21:46, 5 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If there are any notable stories you believe are missing from the "Current events" section, you are more than welcome to add them. It's merely an unfortunate fact that negative events like terror attacks and crime tend to be more impactful, and therefore more notable, then positive events. Active vs passive voice?
Do we have a guideline for when to use either the active or passive voice (besides the MoS)? In yesterday's events, I can't help but see these two competing wordings and how a lack of standardization might introduce systemic bias.
I’m a longtime reader of the current events portal, and I’ve been using a third-party RSS feed to consume it. Sometime within the last couple of weeks, that third-party feed stopped updating. It would be great to have an officially supported RSS feed that updates daily instead of relying on fragile third-party solutions. Exchgr (talk) 15:09, 12 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I second this, I strongly support this link being re-instated, as I believe this is the most obvious spot for this link to go. Cheers! Johnson52421:26, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The link should definitely come back, having unclickable dead text, still in bold mind you!, makes very little sense to me, especially on the front page. If it's not clickable I think it should be removed entirely 109.79.9.127 (talk) 12:46, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
