Maejor (born Brandon Green, July 23, 1988, and formerly known as Bei Maejor and Maejor Ali) is an American record producer, singer-songwriter, and creator of music-based audio projects. He has earned multiple Grammy Award nominations, produced charting singles, and achieved multi-platinum streaming success, with over 2 billion streams as a producer and 1 billion as a solo artist.

Maejor has collaborated with artists including Justin Bieber, Martin Garrix (as co-founder of the electronic duo AREA21), Anitta_(singer), will.i.am, Ciara, Nicki Minaj, Mike Posner, Frank Ocean and Sean Paul. He contributed to Inner World, the first musical release by the 14th Dalai Lama, which debuted at number one on the Billboard New Age chart. He also released the single I Love You (432 Hz)in 2019 with Colombian singer Greeicy, which reached the top 10 on French airplay charts and was certified Gold in France.

In 2022, he launched the Audible Original podcast Maejor Frequency, which was named Adweek Podcast of the Year. He is also the co-founder of Frequency School, an educational initiative that produced the 2025 song "195", a project featuring one woman from each UN-recognized country. The song was awarded a Guinness World Record for "Most nationalities contributing vocals to a single musical recording".

Maejor was born in Southfield, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan. He then relocated to Atlanta to join Ne‑Yo’s Compound Entertainment in order to further his professional music career.

Maejor gained early recognition after producing "Hold You Down" for Bun B on the album Trill (2005), which was certified gold. He later produced tracks for Trey Songz ("Passion, Pain & Pleasure") and Monica ("Still Standing"), both of which earned Grammy nominations.

Other production credits during this time include work with Frank Ocean ("Dust"), Jhené Aiko ("July" featuring Drake), Keri Hilson, Ghostface Killah, Ginuwine, and Soulja Boy. He also contributed to film and media soundtracks, including Bratz: The Movie, The Princess and the Frog, Think Like a Man, and campaigns for Pepsi, NBA 2K, and FIFA.

Releasing music as Bei Maejor and later Maejor Ali, he achieved solo success with singles like "Trouble" (featuring J. Cole) and "Lights Down Low" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame).

In 2013, Maejor released "Lolly" featuring Justin Bieber and Juicy J. The song peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum.

He co-wrote and produced multiple tracks for Justin Bieber, including on the albums Believe, Journals, and Purpose. Other collaborators during this time included Iggy Azalea, Kid Ink, Sean Paul, Austin Mahone, will.i.am, Big Time Rush, Meghan Trainor, and Anitta. He co-wrote Anitta's 2017 hit "Vai Malandra", which broke Brazilian streaming records and entered Spotify's Global Top 50.

Maejor has stated that a cancer diagnosis and recovery period were pivotal in changing the focus of his career.^[1] This experience led him to explore the use of sound frequencies in music for therapeutic purposes. The shift inspired the release of two solo albums focused on frequency-based wellness and the development of subsequent projects, including his podcast and educational initiatives.

In 2016, Maejor co-founded the EDM duo AREA21 with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix. Maejor provided vocals, songwriting, and co-production on singles such as "Spaceships", "We Did It", "Glad You Came", and "La La La". Their debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 was released in 2021 alongside an animated visual series. He performs on stage with Martin Garrix occasionally most recent in India in 2025.

Maejor was a contributor to Inner World, the debut music album by the 14th Dalai Lama, released in July 2020. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard New Age chart^[2] and combined spiritual teachings with ambient instrumentation.

Maejor released two solo projects exploring therapeutic sound frequencies: Vol. 1: Frequency (2020) and Vol. 1.1: Frequency (2021). Both albums feature tones such as 432 Hz and 528 Hz.

In 2022, Maejor launched the Audible Original podcast Maejor Frequency. The 10-episode series featured immersive sound design, global travel, and field recordings. Guests included Martin Garrix, Rohan Marley, White Sun, and Boi-1da.^[3]

In 2025, the school released the song "195", featuring 195 women from each UN-recognized nation saying the word "equality" in their native language ^[7]. The track was composed using 528 Hz frequencies and natural sounds, and it premiered at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland.^[8]

The project received a Guinness World Record for "Most nationalities contributing vocals to a single musical recording".

Maejor produced a special 444 Hz musical tribute for the Dalai Lama's 90th birthday. The composition was presented as part of formal global celebrations marking the occasion.^[9]

In 2025, Maejor contributed to Justin Bieber’s albums Swag (Justin Bieber album) and Swag II. He produced the track “Forgiveness,” performed by Marvin Winans with additional vocals by Bieber. Maejor also co-produced “Poppin’ My Shii,” a track on Swag II featuring rapper Hurricane Chris.^{[10] [11]}

Both contributions reflected Maejor's ongoing exploration of musical frequency theory. These credits are linked to a new artistic identity Maejor has referred to as “Frequency Magic,” describing his approach to integrating favorable frequencies into mainstream music. The foundational idea behind Frequency Magic is rooted in the theory that certain frequencies can have healing or consciousness-altering effects.

Frequency Magic is a music production methodology developed by Maejor that focuses on the optimization of sonic frequencies across both individual tracks and entire albums. The technique involves harmonizing audio elements—such as vocals, instrumentation, and ambient textures—at tuning frequencies believed to enhance emotional and energetic resonance.
