MacCarthy Mac-Gbathy
MacCarthy Mac-Gbathy is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and the founder of HOPin Academy, a Ghanaian ecosystem development organization that provides opportunities for young people and women in Northern Ghana to curb rural-urban migration and reduce unemployment through entrepreneurship and startup development, and human capital development.[1][2] EducationHe attended Tamale Technical University for an HND in Marketing and Communication and was later awarded a degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. CareerMacCarthy founded HOPin Academy in northern Ghana to provide spaces and platforms for social entrepreneurs. Since its inception, Mac-Gbathy has led over 1,500 entrepreneurs within northern Ghana.
