Career

Akhil Dev is reported as the managing director and producer associated with LSD Productions. In November 2023, the Ernakulam First Class Additional District and Sessions Court stayed the release of the film Porattu Nadakam after a copyright complaint was filed by writer/director Vivian Radhakrishnan and producer Akhil Dev, who alleged the screenplay was taken from a script they had developed.[1][2]

Other public moments

In May 2013, following the IPL spot-fixing scandal implicating cricketer S. Sreesanth, Akhil Dev was involved in the case and was reported among friends and associates who camped in New Delhi in support of Sreesanth after his arrest.[6] In the same period, the Hindustan Times listed Akhil Dev among the five close allies permitted to visit Sreesanth in Tihar jail.[7]
