The Age of the Understatement adalah debut album dari The Last Shadow Puppets, menampilkan Alex Turner dari Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane dari The Rascals dan James Ford dari Simian Mobile Disco. Hal ini dirilis pada 21 April 2008 di Inggris, setelah merilis single eponymous mereka di minggu sebelumnya.^[2] Ia memasuki UK Albums Chart di No. 1 pada tanggal 27 April 2008. Album ini dinominasikan untuk Mercury Prize tahun 2008.^[3]
